“awesome camping featuring a Blue Lagoon Tropical Pool!”
We take camping seriously at Moose Hillock! Whether you are an RV'er or a tenter, we offer you 90 unspoiled acres, surrounded by thousands of acres of White Mountain National Forest. Our private, secluded sites offer you a true camping experience. Our RV sites are large, level and private, with 20 - 30 and 50 amp electrical service with full hookup sites available. Our tent sites are located in a separate, secluded area which is exclusively dedicated to tenters. All sites come equipped with picnic tables and natural stone fireplaces. And, if you're not a camper but would like to try out the camping experience, we offer two different cabin styles available for rental. Our famous “Blue Lagoon Tropical Swimming Pool” is one of the favorite attractions at Moose Hillock. Our heated Themed swimming pool, the “Blue Lagoon” with our Authentic Spanish Galleon is an adventure for both young and old. The ship was commandeered by a group of ruthless pirates during a raging storm and ran aground within our “Blue Lagoon Tropical Swimming Pool”. Come experience for yourself the adventure of exploring this shipwreck, its Pirate Treasure and Water Cannons, along with the cave, waterfall, and slides. Kids of all ages will have a blast! Our pool is open Memorial Day weekend thru the weekend following Labor Day. Standard pool hours are from 9:30AM through dusk, weather permitting. Surprise night swims are common. We would like to remind you that there is NO LIFEGUARD, and that children under 14 years MUST be accompanied by an adult when INSIDE the pool enclosure.

Went for 4 days (tent camping) with a large group of kids. Sites are large and have a stone fire ring and picnic table. Facilities are cleaned at least twice a day from what I noticed, and the staff is kind and helpful.
The pool is phenomenal for the kids; it’s enormous and has two slides to keep them entertained. They did a movie night in the pool, had live music, and a magic show while we were there. There are multiple trails from the camp, fishing, and even a natural pool to swim in, so there’s no shortage of things to do without leaving camp.
No cell service unless you have AT&T and free WiFi only at main area (office, pool).

Went with daughter, son in law and grandsons and spent most of the time in the heated pool. There are movies shown a couple of times a week at the pool. There are activities (most years but not 2020). Grandsons fished in the stocked pond and rode their bikes. There are ATV trails in the area and the hikes in the White Mountains are always beautiful.

Great pool for relaxing and having fun, enjoy watching an evening family movie while floating around the heated pool. Fish in the stocked pond or enjoy planned activities (not happening in 2020). ATV trails are in the area and there are beautiful hikes in the White Mountain National Forest.

The campground was nice, our younger kids want to come back to check out the pool as we were there during off season and they were closed. Campground was quiet and sites were large. Our site was very big and private - only caveat being that we needed to back in up a pretty good sized hill to get to the site. Once there, however, it was great. Although we were only there for a weekend, there didn't seem to be much to do in the area. (The rocket in the center of town was pretty neat, though). **Note that there was NO cell coverage for Verizon, so backing up the RV on the hill was pretty difficult without an easy way to communicate (we've since purchased walkie-talkies)

Our kids loved the pool and water slides. They also liked fishing in the pond and playing on the playground.
The sites are big and have plenty of space for the family.
