The Fossil Exhibit Trail is a self-guided, fully accessible boardwalk featuring fossil replicas and exhibits of extinct creatures that once lived in the area. The exhibits are tactile, so please feel free to touch. Braille is incorporated into the exhibits.
Fossil Exhibit Trail is a 0.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Interior, South Dakota that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until October.
This was an informative little boardwalk trail that had lots of plaques with information about the fossils in the area. Prefect for kids!
