Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on November 25, 2021We stayed here as a quick overnight and were very impressed. The campground layout and site sizes were perfect for big rigs with easy ingress/egress and super convenient to I95. We did not use the facilities or have contact with them staff. Our rating is based on our limited use of the campground.
This used to be a KOA and recently was bought and updated, and it's a nice little park if you need a place in the area to stay for a night or two. It has all the amenities of a KOA (2 pools, little dog run, exercise room) and a lot of sites taken by fulltimers. The whole park is really clean and well landscaped and the trailers/motorhomes are all in good shape and everyone's areas are well kept. They're in the process of updating all the restrooms, and they also have about 20 cabins for rent. It's close to I-95, but far enough off the highway that you don't hear any noise.

We were beating the first blizzard of 2016 as we raced down 95. We made it as far as North Carolina, and without a reservation we were able to slip into the Fayetteville RV Resort before the storm hit.
We were able to easily find a spot by visiting the night owl check-in. The next day we met the wonderful camp managers, who had their hands full keeping everything running through a 3 day ice storm.
I'm sure the place is lovely during the warm weather, unfortunately we were stuck in our camper the whole time. They did have a game room, however there were a few "friends of campers" who made the place less than appealing.
We would camp there as a resting spot, just not for an extended time.

Needed a place to stop for the night and this place was recommended by someone I had recently met at a state park in GA. On short notice we were able to call and reserve a spot, and even though we arrived after their office closed they left our welcome pack info at an after hours box which was perfect. The park was clean, has lots of amenities and staff we talked to over the phone were very friendly. The park is conveniently located near I-95, so you can hear some highway noise in the distance as a result. The highway noise did not bother us, but there were multiple loud vehicles that came in and out of the park throughout the night that were very disruptive.

We stayed here one night on our way through NC because this was close to the highway. We arrived late and our welcome packet was waiting for us so check-in couldn't have been easier. Site was level and close to bathhouse which was handy for our quick overnight stay. Everything was clean and well kept. My husband enjoyed the pool and there are a lot of trees around the perimeter and along some of the driveway, which made for nice walking with our dog. It was fully booked and very busy with lots of kids and families out using the ample amenities. Things quieted down at 10pm and with our A/C on we didn't hear any noises in the night. Cell service was fine and there was also wifi. Overall very good experience for a quick stopover.

This was the perfect stopover on our way to Florida. Easy access from I-95, immaculate, friendly, large sites, shaded, landscaped, beautiful pools, large and comfortable club house. So glad we chose to stay here. We’ll be back in two weeks on our way home.

Pleasant staff. Sites are well spaced. Ours was a pull through and level. Gravel. Cable and full hook up. Wi-Fi was very week. Lots to do here. A lot of events on their calendar. Very clean and excellent landscaping.
Some highway noice but also very convenient to exit. Ten miles to nearest stores.

This is the perfect overnight stop in our way home to Virginia from Florida.
Less than a mile from I-95, easy and friendly check in, large pull-through site, very clean tiled bath house, and overall tidy campground. Though we didn't use other amenities (putt-putt, pool, laundry facility, etc.) they would be great for a longer stay. Loved the secured Wi-Fi and cable tv.
Highly recommend this resort. Would definitely make it a routine stop to and from south destinations.
