We stopped here on our way across country. It is a great little town with beautiful scenery. The Eagle Center staff were very knowledgable. There are a lot of great exhibits, that are very informative. We enjoyed our time here.
Definately worth stopping

Really fun place, friendly people, incredible birds, and beautiful views. An overall great stop to make. It is expensive but worth the money.
Our family loved this place! It’s in a beautiful spot on the river and we arrived just in time for one of their eagle talks. Really nice for the kids to see live eagles up close.
One of the best stops on the trip. Bald and golden eagles, close up. You can't hold them because they're big, wild angry birds, I'm told (I asked). I really wanted a majestic cinematic selfie as the big one perched menacingly on my arm. Alas, twas not to be. But we did get close - within 3 feet or so of them. They are tethered in their habitat and you can walk right next to them. Renee got great pictures and we got to help with a training exercise and watch them eat up close. I can't explain the feeling of having a huge bird half the size of you crunching up bones and all of small game right next to you while giving you the stinkeye. You feel like they're going to speak any minute.
The facility is great and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The birds are in captivity because they have injuries that prevent their release, so it's all good with the tree hugging crowd.
Terrific exhibits and knowledgable staff. Seeing the eagles up close was memorable. Great for kids.
$8 adult admission felt a little steep.
Great place for bird lovers. Many Bald Eagles & Golden Eagles to view up close without dividers. Kids can even go fishing to help feed the eagles! Wonderful place!
