The chapel was dedicated in 1959, three years after groundbreaking ceremonies. (View a copy of the dedication booklet from September 27, 1959.) Originally called Memorial Chapel in recognition of the many memorial gifts made to help fund its construction, it was named the Chapel of the Resurrection in 1969. Numerous special events highlighted the 50th anniversary of the Chapel in the 2009–10 academic year.
The Chapel of The Resurrection is located inside Valparaiso University. They have the most beautiful stained glass window, it is a must see! They host a National Basketball Tournament in March. It is very exciting for the kids!
