Great place to stop, eat lunch and have the kids play before we kept driving. Playground was dirty so bring wipes to clean little hands afterwards. Bathrooms were locked so plan to stop somewhere before or after.
Scott Park is 28 acres of fun! A lit, paved walking track (3.8 laps make a mile) with painted lanes is perfect for runners or walkers, while a regulation-size football field with bleachers and lights is a fantastic spot to host practices or games. Restrooms are available and so are water fountains at this amenity-packed facility. The fenced-in park also features four lit, regulation outdoor basketball courts, three lit regulation tennis courts, and a large lit and covered stage with electricity. There is also a large open field with a baseball backstop for softball, baseball, or general recreation. To top it off, Scott Park has two picnic shelters with electricity and water hook ups available for rent.
