Had dinner in the restaurant. Great wholesome food and nice western setting. Get there early though as there was a big queue when we left at 8.30. General store very impressive.

We stayed at Ruby’s Inn Campground in our 40 foot class A motorhome. Our site was one of the nicer, with shade trees and grass on both sides. Not all sites had that. We were there for quite a long time and the Wi-Fi seemed adequate, the restaurants all served their purpose. We did the Bryce Canyon Pies restaurant which was one of our favorites (elk burgers!). The fast food place at Ruby’s had great white pizza, the all you can eat buffet in the restaurant was very good and we also ate inside of Bryce Canyon at the Lodge, which was also very good but expensive. Ruby’s Campground was very large with lots of walking space however it definitely lacks a fenced in off leash dog run area! This was the biggest drawback for me! Almost everyone camps with their dogs and it would be very affordable to fence in the triangle area where the doggies could go to potty…. Just a suggestion!?!? I was glad we were close to that grassy area for the dog. We enjoyed the pond in the back also; Ruby’s should do more with that; perhaps a dock? We did the Rodeo, fun but almost every cowboy got hurt!? We also did the concert banquet dinner… FUN and met some neat folks. Bryce Canyon is spectacular and Ruby’s Inn was right there! ( Beware of Elevation… hard to breathe)

Great campground very close to the entrance of Bryce. You can drive around and find your own tent site, first come first serve. Very friendly staff, willing to help

Really nice campground. Sites have some shade and are reasonably spaced. Close to the Bryce Canyon entrance and near a very new paved bike trail. Sites are not paved but most are pull through. Wifi is very reliable at about 2 mbs. Small store at campground and larger one at the inn. Clean bathrooms and showers. We would stay here again.

I fear what wrath this Ruby fella will cause rain down on me should I dole out my usual negativity peppered with compliments of an ambiguous nature should this review be found out, so please do allow me to be brief.

When discovering our firepit, upon arrival, had the majority of its stones siphoned off to other spots, the staff was quick to resolve the matter by disassembling another pit and adding to our own.

That's a pretty big deal at most campgrounds, so kudos to them for that, and their general loveliness.

I also bought a wicked Mighty 5 shirt from them, which still has a particularly soft spot in my wardrobe. It is, after all, a cotton blend.

Did I find the bicycling proximity to Ruby's gas station, mini mart and novelty shop a bonus? Why yes, I did!

I seem to also recall a big canyon type thingy with some really old trees and the statues of ancient humans who were destroying this land until the Coyote turned them into hoodoos. That may be the best reason to stay here, native fauna sorcery.

The convience of this park is the reason to stay here. It is clean and the staff is helpful. The wifi is non-existent. You can get cell service, but no cable or local TV channels. My advice is make sure you do your grocery shopping before you get here. The grocery store is linked to Rubys and is small and costly.

I would rate this a 3.5 because of the locatio, not quite a 4 for what they charge. Since we only stayed one night, we chose the closest park to Bryce Canyon National Park. We had full hookup, so it served as our dumpsite after dry camping, plus we needed to do laundry. All of these services were provided which made us feel better about the rate.

We had a pull-through site, and it had good decent spacing between it and other sites, but the actual area where the RV needed to fit into was a bit narrow. There were good areas around the park to walk dogs. The only "amenity" that I used was the laundry, which was big and clean. There is supposed to be a pool and hot tub, but we never made it there.

It is just minutes away from Bryce so it is perfect if the plan is to spend quality time at the park. Not so much for anything else.

This is our second stay at Ruby's Inn and RV Resort. Three years ago they had developed a huge parking lot type area in the very back. We stayed here and were happy, as the sites were wide and level. This year we were quite surprised to find that they have recently renovated three rows of the sites. The site's parking area is pull through, level, and twice as wide as your RV. They are presently a sand/gravel mix. Each site had a huge raised patio area with beautiful grass on three fourths and decorative rock in the other piece which holds the picnic table and sunken firepit. The patios were just recently sodded. You are a long ways from your neighbor. All sites have full hooks with 50 amp. The park was full the whole time we there in mid May, but it was so quiet and very dark at night. Our price reflects the weekly rate which I would imagine will increase when the area is all completed. There is also a more traditional campground area in the trees. Some sites are very tight and others are unlevel. Most sites are full hook up but there are a few with just W/E. The WiFi was good most of the time. Verizon signal is weak but with the booster we could use the phone and got 4g data some. The park offers a shuttle stop out front into the park for free. There is a newly completed two lane paved bike path from Red Canyon into Bryce Canyon.

We stayed here for a week, and it worked well as our base while exploring the area. It's only a mile or two to drive into Bryce Canyon, and the park's shuttle stops at the campground every 15 minutes or so. It's also fairly close to Red Canyon, Grand Staircase-Escalante, and Kodachrome Basin. We stayed in the new section in the back which has huge sites... some have nice grass lawns and gravel patios, but ours was just dirt. The trees are sparse and young so expect full sun. The rest of the campground is much larger, full of mature trees providing full shade. The sites in this older section are much closer together but still reasonable. The WiFi worked reasonably well during the day, and not surprisingly slowed down a lot in the evenings. We had a weak cell signal but it was usable, and with our booster it was much better. We found this to be a perfectly acceptable campground for visiting Bryce, and will consider it again if we return to the area.

Bus stops right at the front gate to take you to all the cool parts of the park without any traffic bother. Awesome. Mountain biking trails right outside the park, with miles and miles of riding. While the trails do technically share with ATV's, I never encountered one.

Kids loved the pool, while I enjoyed the hot tub and plenty of shady relaxing areas on the pool patio. Easy kid-biking access to ATV-riding, horse-riding, rodeo, ice cream, you name it. Four days was definitely not long enough here.

Truthfully, I am letting the amazingness of Bryce Canyon rub off on my rating for this place. The RV park itself isn't very inspiring, and it lacks a playground. Still, the immediate access to an epic park puts it into five-star range.
