Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The Original Chase Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot will take place on November 28th at Whole Foods Market Upper Arlington.  Best of all Whole Foods will prepare “Freshly Baked” Pumpkin Pies for the first 2,100 finishers! Proceeds of this great event will benefit Easter Seals and the Make the First Five Count Program. Last year over 7,000 participants joined in this family tradition which has been celebrated for over 25 years and was also selected as the best “Hometown Favorite” by Runners World Magazine.   The Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot will move to its new home this year. Where? The new Whole Foods Market in the Lane Avenue Shopping Center. Participants in the Turkey Trot have the option of entering the 5 Mile or the 2.5 Mile "Walk N' Talk" *Please note, the Walk and Talk is for WALKERS ONLY.  All finishers will receive medals and the top finishers in each event will take home a Fresh Pumpkin Pie from Whole Foods (Retail Value $17.99). Don't forget the kids, the annual McDonald's Tot Trot is a huge hit and the 100 yard dash includes a t-shirt, finisher ribbon and treat.  Best of all it is free when they register with a parent or guardian.  We are grateful for the opportunity to bring this event to you!   It's that time again to "Run, Eat Pie, Give Thanks and Give Back"!
