“Relax & Rejuvenate at this Tybee Island Beach Hotel”
Tybee Island has a rich history in its' past, filled with many historic sites and is rumored to be the place where Blackbeard hid his buried treasure. The Tybee Hotel is a great destination hotel for any occasion. We offer over 200 rooms to choose from, each with private balconies.
Great location! Only thing between your room and the beach is a small parking lot (which I'm pretty sure is public/free for overnight parking if you'd rather just camp in your car). Loved that you could pick which way your room faced and everything. I only stayed one night but this is a great place to splurge during a road trip, shower, get organized, and enjoy the beach. Plus, early risers can take the 5 minute walk to the end of the pier and catch a gorgeous sunrise with the fishermen. Staff was super friendly and knowledgable, guy who checked me in was able to answer all my prying questions about the history of the hotel. Definitely pick up some souvenirs on your way in/out of the lobby; they have Tybee merch plus sunscreen, hats, etc. And it's just a couple blocks from the house from the Last Song. Overall a great stay, currently planning my second visit.
