Called to make a reservation, spoke to who I believe was the owner. Everything seemed fine. Upon arrival, after I paid for the site the owner (again I believe) started in on a list of things we cannot do!! The major one was we had to limit our electricity use...no AC, no microwave. Here we are in the Adirondacks in July...93 degrees outside 99% humidity and after we paid he says no AC. The park electrical grid cannot handle the load and it will trip the park and he will not reset the breakers until he is ready to. As I maneuvered through the park, the roads are OK, but it was very tight to get into my site. As promised the power went out about 3am and was not reset until after 9 in the morning. So we didn't even have a fan!!! On top of that the park smelled like sewer the entire time there. All the sewer lines run on top of the ground from sites to site, so everywhere you look there is white PVC piping all over. On a high note.....the bathroom/showers closest to me was actually very nice. I've stayed at free camping sites that are a lot better than this place. It was just awful....the 90 degree weather didn't help but we made the best of it as we explored Tupper Lake!!
