At Forest Lake Campground in Truxton, N.Y. you will enjoy the great outdoors. Our eight acre private lake is surrounded by rolling hills and high altitude creating a relaxing Adirondack like atmosphere. One visit will explain why many families choose to stay for the whole season and add to the more than 40 years of memories. Our 350 acre tract includes an eight acre private lake, row boat rentals, a children’s playground and game room. There is also a special rally field for large or small groups with a large pavilion. Spacious campsites are available in sunny and shaded areas.

This is a very pretty place with a lot of varied sites, a nice "lake" or pond, water and electric hook ups and warm friendly people. It is rather remote and very quiet for the most part. But it needs work. The toilet near our site was clear and pretty new but sometimes didn't flush. The showers were terrible. The men's side had good pressure but the drains didn't drain so the well you stand in filled and overflowed. The woman's shower had no hot water and no pressure. This all needs to be reworked and there are signs they are. By the way, the ponds lost most all of its fish in winter kill a couple of years ago. The dump station was OK.
