Historic building and stop on the Trans America Trail
Good place good people that seem to be missing in this day.
Top stop on the trip. Don blink you wlll miss it and also miss great people Warthog flag stop. Law enforcement motorcycle club. WFWW
Rest stop set up by a lovely old fella named Percy, who hangs out here hoping to catch travellers passing along the Trans America Trail - which passes right by.
You will see signs saying "TAT stop ahead" and such along Phillips Road 350 / Old Little Rock Rd as you approach. You'll know you are there by the small historic buildings with the large Heidelberger signs.
Percy has a collection of historic items in the buildings that he'll happily talk to you about, show you some photos from his past, tell a few stories and so on. He usually has refrigerated water available for riders too, and has a guest book where you can sign and see the many folks from around the world who have ridden the trail.
Lovely that Percy takes the time to do this, he says he always wanted to travel, but never could. Now by sitting here at the roadside, the world can come to him.
