We ended up extending our stay from one night to five because of all the things to do around here. The park only has 11 sites but they are all mostly shaded with large Live Oak trees and hanging Spanish moss which brings you back in time. All the sites are huge and level. They just put the laundry facility in and it was perfect! Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved it and we will definitely be back.

Just returned home from a great stay at the Manor. They have a picturesque setting and friendly hosts! This RV stay was by far one of our favorites. You are nestled in the middle of historic grounds and Georgia hospitality abounds. We were treated to a fireside wiener roast and hosts that aimed to please. They are planning more wonderful upgrades.....looking forward to another great stay in the future.

The PERFECT park for our last night on the road! Before we drive the final 260 miles of our 32 day, 6,100+ mile adventure, we get to spend today and tonight lakeside, minutes away from I-95 yet miles away from the noise of civilization.
This place is beautiful, lots of trees, lakeside and lots and lots of grass. We’re the only folks in our section (so far - it’s still early!) and we’re in slip 3. It’s level, very long, full hookups including a bunch of cable channels and there is internet available however with Dishy and four solid bars on AT&T, I didn’t even check out the hamsters - we’ll leave the bandwidth for someone else. There is a laundry, free firewood, fishing and lots of peace and quiet. Diane and the boys are loving it and so am I - we are blessed!

Dog friendly, small campground with old Georgia feel. Lots of old oaks with Spanish moss. All sites are close but in amongst the trees. Neighbors respect each other and are friendly. We were in site #3. If you’ve made a reservation online you just proceed to your rented site. Sites are gravel and pretty close to level. Full hookups at all which include electric, water and sewer. You will get a password for the WiFi in your confirmation email. Cable is also provided at your site just need your own cord to connect. We couldn’t connect because our cord wasn’t long enough because we backed in and set up too far from the connection. We received about 35 tv channels on just the antenna.
You must be able to be self contained in your camper/RV (the reason they provide everything for you to hook up) because they do NOT have a dump station or a bathhouse. They also do NOT have individual fire rings at your site. You only have a picnic table. A community fire pit is available(call office for free firewood if you wish to do a fire) and located in front of laundry house. If you reserved for a week or more, laundry is free (call office for the code). Website states that staying only overnight, it would be a minimum charge of $10 and not free (you still need to call office). Brian answered the phone (I called to get the code) was very pleasant & helpful. They do not provide detergent so bring your own. What a very nice perk with the free laundry & firewood!
Piggly Wiggly grocery store is literally across the street. Outside of store doesn’t look that great but inside is nice, clean and well stocked with what you may need in groceries. Employees were friendly. Exit campground and go left one city block and a very cute place called “Barraco’s Bakery” is worth a visit. We just walked there. Has baked goods, sandwich items, espresso beverages. etc. We had lattes (good but milk steamed a wee bit too hot in temp.) The bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on a grilled bagel were delicious! Very friendly owner & the local customers that came in while we were there gave us a good amount of info. on places and things to do nearby. ACE hardware was about 6 city blocks from campground exit in same direction (which we did need to utilize). Employees again, very friendly and store well stocked.
Site seeing close by: St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Brunswick. All worth visiting and walking around. The beaches, houses, piers, parks, streets, mossy covered trees, historical sites are all very pretty & take you back in time and some areas were modern, as well. Bike riding trails in abundance, lots of places are dog friendly (read up on which locations you can’t have them at). Lots of restaurants and this area is well known for the best and sweetest shrimp around (shrimping boats everywhere) and you have to try the REAL “Brunswick Stew”. We got ours along with a great pulled pork sandwich at Southern Soul BBQ on St. Simons Island on Demere Rd. Right up the road from there we finished with a delicious latte at “Wake Me Coffee” at Aviator Plaza. If you are in need of Lowes, Home Depot, Joann Fabrics (all the normal chain shopping stores) you can find in nearby Brunswick about 25 min. South off 95, Rt. 17 or Rt. 99. I would return and stay here again while traveling from PA to FL.

Nice Quiet Campground With Only A Few Spots And Free Laundry Was A Pleasant Stay For Us. No Checking In And No Amenities Though. Just Pull In And Find Your Spot. No Office But Does Have A Handyman Around Occasionally. Grocery Store Right Across The Street Was Convenient. Altmans Restaurant Nearby Was Excellent. Overall Enjoyed Our Stay!

We stopped here for 1 night on our way south and another night on our way back north. My only complaint is that we stayed for such a short time. We will definitely be back for a longer stay to explore the area. Laurie and Larry are great hosts and the park is beautiful. Everything is well maintained and very peaceful. I would love to recommend this place to everyone, but it's small and I don't want to get too many people trying to get in! It was the perfect place for a stop over, but I also think it will be great to stay for a while and just relax. We were in site 11, the only pull through that they currently have. Getting in and out with a '42 fifth wheel was very easy. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
