An oasis of a park, nestled in mature pine and Russian olive trees, and beautifully kept grounds. Stay 6 nites, get 7th free. $38/night + tax, 30 amp. Camp Three Forks has 65 pull-thrus (31x63), 13 FHU sites, many with new 50amp pedestals, 21 tent sites and 4 cabin rentals units (12x12', full bed & 2 bunks, bring own linens). Strong Wi-Fi, good OTA signal (10-15 channels), laundry, clean restrooms/showers. Lovely dog walking areas, spacious gravel sites, some more level than other, but the key is easy access to IH90/287S. 30 mi from Bozeman; Butte is 1 hr west. 15 miles to Lewis & Clark Caverns. Park is Quiet and peaceful. Friendly Work Campers were great, easy check-in and escorted us to our site. Hand dipped ice cream $2 and small gift shop. This was our 3rd visit, in a 37' Travel Trailer. Handles big rigs with ease. Would come again if traveling this way!

This is one of the prettiest parks we've stayed in. Satellite won't work in 99% of sites due to the wonderful shade trees. Gravel roads and sites. Grass area with picnic table. Clean laundry, dated but clean shower and restrooms. Small store of essentials and books. Ice cream cones were very popular.

There are three state parks very close by, and the small town has two good places to eat. Bozeman is just 30 miles south with every service available.

I reserved a FHU with 50 amps but when we arrived I had a 50 amp water and electric only. The gentleman gave me the 30 amp rate which I thought was very nice. Then he put us in a 30 amp site :-(. But it was a 100 foot long site - plenty of room for motorhome and Jeep. The back half of the site has another water spigot and that's where the fire pit is located. On our second night they put a tenter back there. All the tent sites were available, but before the evening was over they had put a half dozen tenters behind all the pull-through rigs. We had to move the Jeep so we didn't get blocked in. Tenters couldn't figure out which water was theirs, or which fire pit....it was very chaotic. The escort in the red golf cart was driving so fast the people couldn't follow her, once she had to turn around to go back and get them. On the morning we left the tent area was nearly full and most of the other tenters had moved on. It was the weirdest thing we've seen.

Park WiFi worked over 50% of the time we were there. Nice dump station.

So. Wonderful park you should definitely stay at - and be sure you get confirmation on what you're reserving both when you make the call and when you check in. The staff are friendly and helpful, just not very well organized.

Although this campground is not close to really any stores or gas stations, it is just what we needed for a few nights.

We had one of the shadiest spots in the campground and we had only w/e hookups which was fine for 3 nights. Everything was clean in the park, nice playground for the kids and a huge area for dogs to run in. The spots are level and close together but we felt like we had a good bit of privacy. Oh, the pool was a big empty hole in the ground, so don't walk over in your swimsuit to be disappointed. Also, amazing wifi speed.

During our stay we had an amber alert that's description was a travel trailer and a black ford truck so I walked to the front desk to let them know incase someone tried to stay at the campground with said rig. They were already on it and were scoping out all of the campers that were there as well as taking notes of the licenses to make sure no one matched the description. That made us feel incredibly safe.

Would stay here again if passing through the area.

TIP: Check out the Louis and Clark Caverns if staying in the area. To us, they're better than Carlsbad Caverns.

This is the third time we have stayed here in 5 years. It was previously a KOA, now privately owned. Nice gravel sites, beautifully wooded and easy to get in and out, though the sites are close together. WIFI and amenities good. Nice park.

Our past two stays here were fine, with an occasional loud-piped pickup or semi rolling down hwy 287. This stay was in mid October, the final week they were open. The semi truck traffic was horrendous!! Logging trucks, grain trucks, construction trucks! They did slow down at night, but their engine rumbling still pierced the night--and we were upwind of the highway. Was it maybe just the time of year, with harvest? Don't know, but maybe we will try it again, just not in the fall.

Three Folks Campground is a nice eay-off the interstate CG suitable for a night or two. Lots of shade trees and grassy common areas and quiet... Staff was super friendly and W/E site were level gravel with nice grass between sites. Wish we had time to explore Three Forks as it appeared to have lots of potential. Wifi access was excellent and fast. Laundry was good priced $2/wash and $1/dryer. Only downside- bathrooms and showers were really old and looked moldy. Otherwise good stop/good location- maybe for a longer stay to see town

We stayed is site 33. The camp is clean and nice looking and we had full hook up for three nights it cost 156.00.
My problem is the pool was filled in, two of the washing machines were broke, the hot water in the bathhouse was broke and the bathhouse did not have heat.
I feel because the amenities are broke or completely done away with it is over priced.
Also the Verizon data was spotty. We had three bars but the data would cut out

Other than a tricky side-to-side slope of my site which took a while to level, this was a very pleasant stay. I've never stayed at a KOA since their reviews tend to be very uneven - this property started as a KOA then went private (Camp Three Forks) and as of January 2021 is now back to a KOA. The main building is completely renovated with a very well-stocked store, brand new 24-hour laundry, patio deck, very nice showers and bathrooms, a new dump station, and apparently more to come (no pool). The large playground was full of kids but is off in the far corner of the property by the entry road. Several cabins and tent sites with great views overlooking the Jefferson Valley to the south. Check-in was very quick and the office gent was really nice. The dumpsters were completely loaded but it was a Sunday afternoon when I arrived. The sites range from FHU to EW, to water only. Nearly all are pull-through. I'm sure some would say the sites don't have enough separation but they weren't bad. Lots of mature shade trees helped beat the heat - which is why we came here after several days of dry camping at Headwaters and the Caverns. Park WiFi looked new and worked but wasn't fast. AT&T was also slow but T-Mobile 5G was blazing 120 Mbps down and 30 Mbps up as I'm writing this.

We were in the FHU sites toward the back of the park. They are narrow, and some have a slope front to back. Many bigger rigs went very slowly to get around as the park is overall tight. Our site was level. The office folks are very nice. They accepted packages for us from Amazon, and seemed pleasant every day. The park is quiet. We'd stay here again. AT&T service was fine. If you like horses, or sculptures, or art, go north on Highway 287 a few miles to see the Bleu Horses of Three Forks. They are 39 8' high sculpltures of horses on a hill overlooking the highway. The sun sets behind the horses.

Sit was quite level C-11. Lots of empty spaces, but got assigned close to other campers. Lots of shade. Didn’t realize until I unhooked it didn’t have sewer. I will be checking before I unhook in the future. Just took for granted I would get what I asked for. Also on this side of the park is busy highway with lots of semi trucks. Kinda noisy. Anyway I felt for off season it was kinda pricey.

Pros:
- Close to two different state parks
- Close to I-90
- Nearby gas station, convenience store, grocery store
- Lots of mature trees between sites and lots of birds
- Staff is nice and helpful
- One of the laundry dryers doesn’t work quite right so it is free
- Nice common area with cornhole and a great, full-size grill
- Dog park is just a fenced in area, nothing fancy, but it was a really nice size with grass and trees

Cons:
- Our site was too short for our camper and truck so we had to park the truck sideways. Noticed many other people had this problem.
- Not much space between sites. Our picnic table was up against our neighbors water hookup.
- $70 is a lot to spend for partial hookups.

Internet:
- Verizon 3 mbps down but unreliable at peak times
- AT&T 3 mbps down but unreliable at peak times
- Park Wi-Fi 5 mbps down but didn’t quite reach out camper
