Wi Fi is available in lower loop. Pond onsite, nesting Canada geese. Campground was clean and well maintained. Very peaceful/quiet stop. Reasonable space between sights.
While I say quiet there are well used train tracks nearby but I didn't hear any at night. Short drive to town of Thompson Falls where local market was well stocked. Three point whitetail deer came near one evening. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Easy access for us as we're a pretty small rig. We saw 30 and 35 ft. fivers and Class A's.

You’ll love beautiful Clark Fork River with access. If you love trains this is a great spot. Only drawback, charge for showers.

When we arrived there was no water, at site or the laundry/showers, it remained this way for four days, until the owners returned from a 4 day birthday party. The only water was by calling the camp host and asking them to turn on the well pump. When done we had to call the host. The grounds were over grown. There was no map to show where our site was when we arrived. Our so called welcome pack was inside the electrical box. Extremely poor customer service.
Normally we don’t have an issue with trains, but they were very irritating. Went by the front of the RV park 10 to 15 times a day blowing their whistle 3-4 times. We were going to stay 2 weeks, but left on the 6th day. Very disappointed. Brochure/website not realistic. Misleading.

We stayed at Birdland Bay this spring for 16 nights and had the BEST stay! They have a beautiful trail that leads to the river. The sites are so spacious and private with beautiful trees and flowers all around. The laundry room and restroom facilities are lovely! The welcome packet was such a nice touch with a cute magnet and Birdland Bay sticker. They leave your packet at your site and have your name and site number on the board so checking in is a breeze no need to check in at the office. The only hiccup during our stay is the owners had to fly out for their aunt's 80 birthday and unfortunately, the day they left they had well issues that their camp host was great with, we understand that these things happen and thanks to the camp host we always had water and our tanks were always fill. The owners did personally call us and explain the situation a few days before arrival so we were informed of the situation and that allowed us to change our plans if we wanted to, but we are true campers and have no problem with filling our water tanks. As soon as the owners arrived back the well was fixed and facilities were back open. And yes there are trains but in our recent travels, we have come to learn that Montana has a lot of trains. We will definitely stay here again, the owners and camp host are so kind and you can tell they really love their small family-owned park.

We called the day before arrival and Tamara couldn’t have been kinder. Upon arrival she and her husband both greeted us to help in any way. The sites are nicely shaded and we enjoyed hearing the sounds when the train went by. Our Verizon jet pack worked well for streaming a movie at night. Their internet is good as well and they were also in the process of upgrading that system while we were there so it should be really good moving forward. This is a sweet, family owned and run park and we’d highly recommend it to anyone.
