Thief River Falls Tourist Park

Nice city c/g with shaded sites, grass/gravel and good access. If busy the sites could be very close together. It's a nice town with this park in the middle of the south section of town just east off Hgwy 32.

Local traffic is noisey, city has all the accomodations you might need.

Although the camp is fairly large, the spaces are a bit tight. I’m 25 feet from my neighbor. But the sites are level, the bathhouse is in good shape, and it’s on the Red River (though large trees block some of the view).

There is also a decent road house right across the street. I recommend the walleye!

Nearby is a very large electronics distributor. Many of the 4,000 people who work there are camping here for the season. As a result, there are a lot of odd rigs. Also, seasonal campers like to “decorate” their sites and - for my money - it’s just a little tacky.

I guess I’m the kind of guy who would prefer to be alone in the wilderness. Your mileage may vary. :)

Regarding cellular coverage here: It’s the best I’ve had the past three weeks in the upper midwest. I’m on T-Mobile and I’m getting four bars of 5G coverage. 4G LTE is also four bars. I should be able to see their tower from here!
