We are in Terry, Montana at Small Towne RV & Campground. Mel the manager greeted us yesterday outside as we pulled in. He brought a small galvanized lined garbage can with a lid & handle, welcome mat for our stairs & a binder with info in it from WiFi stuff to maps of area, coupons for nearby cafes!! Today we woke up & on our front steps was the Billings Gazette Newspaper!! And the little bit of trash that was in our personal can by our RV was empty with a clean liner!! It’s a small RV place but the sites are wide & some have trees. We were on the end & it was like a park setting right outside our door! No amenities but great personal customer service! Thanks Mel for making us wish we had planned a longer stay!! We will be back!! 😍

Made reservations before getting into town. literally in someone’s yard. That would be fine if it was maintained. That was not the case here. Grass very overgrown, not even sure what the office was in, if there was one. Was greeted by a random child who said the owner wasn’t around, then some other lady gave us a suggestion where we could park. I hate to leave a bad review of a small business trying to make it, but I feel people should know. This place did not feel safe to stay. We did not stay.

We came during off season, and they were still super nice. They brought me brochures, Surplus information, and even brought us fresh eggs for free! They also offered to fill our water tank from their house when the water Spicket was frozen, which was super nice. Nice people, convenient place off highway in a cute, small town. And it’s cheap!

Mel the owner is super nice and welcoming. That being said you don’t come here for the ambiance. It’s literally in somebody’s yard with a view of an old truck collection and houses. Fine for one night to sleep and leave early. Mel will meet you to collect your cash payment and bring you a door mat, trash can and binder of info. Due to covid we didn’t touch the binder. In the morning he delivers a paper to your windshield. Full service. Back in. Fine enough place just not a great location scenery wise. Would stop again if passing through.

We stayed here for 1 night on a travel day. There isn’t much in the town but the camp host was awesome. He gave us fresh eggs, put a rug at our steps and delivered the paper the next morning. Such thoughtful touches. Close to the interstate but quiet. Internet is really fast. We would stay here again.

We spent one night at the Small Towne RV Park in Terry, MT while traveling through. Mel (presumably the owner) was very attentive and a nice guy. We also got six eggs from his chickens ! The road to the park is dirt once you get down a few blocks off the main street and it was fairly bumpy. Some long termers live here and they were all really nice. Even though this place served our purposes just fine, it is in need of a little love.

The Small Town RV Park is a great spot to overnight. Mel, the owner is a great guy. He welcomed us as we entered the grounds and guided us into our spot, provided us with a nice booklet featuring local attractions, and even placed a door mat in front of our steps! The next morning he delivered the Billings Gazette right to our door.
As far as amenities, there are full hookup sites, some pull through, and electric only spots. Internet service is provided, but no bathroom or shower facilities.
For an overnight rest stop, Small Town RV Park is an excellent choice.

This is definitely a place we’d come back to. Not much more than a levelish parking spot and full hookups but the owner met us as we came in with a door mat, garbage can, stickers, a coupon to a really unique gift shop, and a big smile. And their WiFi was amazing.

We just needed a refuge from the 40+mph wind gusts and found this little spot to rest. Owner was very welcoming; gave us our own trash can, door mat, a coupon to a local gift shop ( bought some local lotions and GF baking mixes), some eggs for breakfast, and a morning paper. Level sites, full hookup, strong wifi. I would definitely stay there again if traveling by.

We arrived and Mel met us at the entrance. He was very helpful helping us get into spot. He left us a mat for in-front of our door:) We have 40’ Montana and it fit nicely on level gravel lot. New electric poles 30/50 and water and sewer hookups.
Very nice spot for a overnight stay .
