Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on July 18, 2022I stayed here for about 6 weeks in the process of selling my house. Owners were super nice and the view from the mountain in gorgeous. Some weekends have a bluegrass band that plays. Although they don’t have sites with sewer, they have a company that comes and pumps your tanks every week so you don’t have to leave your site or have a portable waste container. No big frills but a lovely place to camp. Wifi was fantastic and I was able to work from the camper without issue.

Really nice cg. Very well maintained. Electric and water at each site. The water is shared between some sites (one hydrant) so water pressure can at times get a little low. 30 & 50 amp service. Dump station on site. Very nice, modern, private room style bathrooms, with token operated shower. Laundry on-site. The views are really nice from most perimeter sites. The owners/operators (family) are SUPER nice. We ran into a mechanical issue with our truck and had to extend our stay and even though they were full for the weekend, they accommodated us and even offered to drive us to the Ford dealership. The only reason I did not give 5 stars, is that the sites are pretty close together and have no trees or bushes as a buffer. And some sites are grass, without a gravel pad. Would definitely stay here again.

This was mainly a place to sleep while visiting friends in Glenshaw, but it was the closest campground to them. The owner was nice enough to guide me to my site and offer to level my TT with a concrete paver laying nearby.
The park was situated in a big circle. It has a laundry room and one pay shower. I didn't find the dump station on my way out, but that was my fault for not seeking it out prior to my departure. All in all it was a good experience. Easy access to Pittsburg.

We liked this campground.
At first blush, it seemed not so great. Sites seemed close and no privacy
between sites. But we had plenty of room, full hook-ups, clean toilet and (pay) shower and a laundry.
Like I said, very quiet. And we had a lovely view. Gary (owner) was kind and helpful. Near level site.
30 minutes to Pittsburgh. Internet pretty good.

On top of the mountain (thus the name!), sites a little tight but still roomy. The big valley below had a good view of it from the site. Gary was very helpful, even loaning is an extension cord for the electrical pedestal which our 25 foot cord wouldn’t reach the outlet on the camper. They had a drain hose connection for the gray water tank, a dump station for black water. No cable tv but from the top of the mountain we could get about 14 channels just through the tv without an antenna. Shower and toilet facility was new and very nice. Had porta potty very near the site we had as well. Make sure you follow there instructions on getting there if you have a large rv. Roads are rough and one has a low bridge across it (10 feet). Not many other amenities, ice and firewood available, seemed to be a fair amount of seasonal rv’s. Very relaxing campground close to Pittsburgh and oakmont

**LOOK FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE WELCOME EMAIL. You CANNOT access this from many ways Google maps suggests other than their route provided if your total length is over 30ft**
We’re here for a week visiting family in the area so this wasn’t a destination for us by any means, just a way to stay in our own space. The sites are insanely unlevel from side to side. Don’t even bother with the “pull through” sites. You’re squished like sardines only to be mocked by the huge field in front of you. Go for a back in site towards the back left of the campground. The gravel is chunks of rocks that make your rig incredibly bouncey no matter what you do, it’s annoying. We have NEVER had so many flies and gnats in our camper / at our site in our LIFE.
Three people have pulled in next to us and basically set up their stuff on top of our side, we have two dogs and they need their space to chill when we’re outside, this is really frustrating. I don’t blame the people because they set up the pull through sites really stupidly. Maybe this particular site just got screwed? But behind us is our hookups & the other sites hookups. Which means that we definitely are suppose to have our space on the right side of our rig. But every individual has pulled in to have their doors open towards us.
Starlink has been great and our Verizon is awesome, which ultimately is the goal of why we’re here - family + solid internet to work. But we won’t be back again. This is way too expensive for the price. Pittsburgh is 40-50 minutes away btw, don’t be fooled by the “25 min to Pittsburgh”

We have stayed here a number of times while visiting our kid in Pittsburgh over the last 4 years. Super nice hosts and well maintained, you can tell they take pride in this property. We have watched steady improvements and upgrades in the past 4 years, so check the website for things like full hookups and pull through sites. Wifi is better than average and since you are on a mountain cell service is great!
Just to note it can be windy so be aware of things like awnings and items left out.

This is a beautiful location literally on top of the mountain just north of Pittsburgh.Sites are mostly on the perimeter of a large green meadow with most of the sites having amazing views over the forests. Just beautiful.
Water and electric and gray water hookups at each site. Dump station upon exit. Also has honey wagon service for longer stays. The owners live on site and are delightful and helpful. Water pressure is great, site level, picnic table and fire ring.
Satellite and MiFi worked fine. Small laundry and shower house, plus a couple portable toilets in the meadow.
Follow the directions on the website - not your GPS. The final pull to the top is a bit narrow and rough, but there were no other cars and it wasn't an issue in our large DP pulling a Jeep.
Wish we could have stayed here longer. Nice drive to Pittsburgh, other smaller towns for services even closer.
