“only one of its kind”
The Lincoln Highway Bridge is located in Tama, Iowa along the historic Lincoln Highway. The bridge was built in 1914 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built along the original US transcontinental highway. This is the only Lincoln Highway bridge still in existence.
The location has been updated :) Also, you can see the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site here: http://goo.gl/vguwB !
This is on the wrong point on the map. There is no Lincoln Highway Bridge South of Charleston, IL on 4th ST.
However - there IS Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, the home of Thomas and Sarah Bush Lincoln. It's a living history park. I worked there as a kid and I loved it. :-) I highly recommend.
