Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 08, 2021I can sum up my stay by quoting a google review that I stumbled across after I got there, calling the owner "Joehio Exotic". Don't get me wrong, he was a nice guy, but fits the description perfectly.
Its a crowded place with almost exclusively seasonal/permanent. Almost immediately upon setting up I couldn't help but think about Chapelle's standup where he talks about moving to Ohio and the meth problem with white people. Probably enough said, but I'll go on. There's a pond for swimming and fishing, that is some kind of mutant chemical green. They have to open up the laundry room because "some guy's been messing around in there". Also failed to mention that the price doesn't include electric, for which they don't tell you at check in and also don't tell you the rate. The website does say weekly rate doesn't include electric but when you book months in advance you kind of lose track of that stuff. The water hookup was a garden hose sticking out of the ground. The site was pretty tight and directly under a ton of electrical wires and boxes.
Only good thing was there are tons of bike trails in the area, both paved and mountain biking.
Obviously can't recommend this place.

First RV stop ever, so I don't have anything to compare to. I knew I would be rolling in just after sunset. Called ahead to see if they were open and if spots were available. Ray was very helpful, asked me to call back when I was just 30 minutes away so someone could meet me at gate (office would be closed by the time I arrived).
When I got there my first impression of office/entrance was that the place looked nice. Only waited for about 5 minutes before the onsite person (pretty sure it was Larry) showed up at the gate to greet me and let me in. He explained the space he was going to lead me to and then led the way. Drove me all they into the pull through spot, and given I was doing a hook up for the first time, walked me through it as well as passed on a couple helpful tips.
I stopped here just to spend the night and have shore power (my actual first night in the RV was boon docking in a Walmart parking lot). So I didn't really explore any of what the campground had to offer. I can say the drive into my spot was quaint. I thought the bathroom was pretty clean and they had some big showers. Overall if I were traveling this way again I would stay over at the Bluegrass
