Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on March 16, 2023This is a city park. Free for 14 days, anything over 14 days, $5/day donation. Registration kiosk is on east side of campground, interesting. Spiral notebook located inside wood box. Donation “pipe” no envelopes available, so cash best option. Very little info on cost & etc. I was able to find info on city website
Level concrete pads, electric hookup is shared between sites, 20 & 30 amp. There are a couple 50 amp sites. Water shared between 2 sites, trash barrels all throughout the park. There is a dump station at the main entrance of the park
The park itself is very nice, 2 play areas, disc golf, dog park, small fishing pond, multiple picnic areas. Restrooms with flush toilets & sink, (restrooms were not very clean), walking trail with exercise stations
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, sites are VERY close.

We love his city park. We’ve stopped here twice now on trips cross country. It’s completely free (but they do accept donations). There are 20 level, concrete RV pads with electric, picnic table, grill and shared water. The park is extremely well maintained and super clean. There is trash, picnic pavilions and bathrooms. There’s even a free dump station behind the school parking lot (which is adjacent to the park). The town is quiet and very friendly and offers all the conveniences you needed. A small, well stocked market is only a 1/2 mile walk, liquor store and restaurants. There is a disc golf course and playground. If you have a bike there’s miles of quiet roads to cycle on. The crowd is mainly local area folk with large 5th wheels. Most sites are quite close together but both times we’ve been here we’ve never had someone next to us. Thanks to Superior for providing such a great place.

This is a lovely campground just above the Kansas state line. Large trees for shade, lots of grass, picnic area, water at hand, sites on concrete, dump station near the entrance to the park (N40.02288, W98.07670). We parked at (N40.02050, W98.08371). The park is free, with a 14-day maximum stay, and they request donations. It’s a little close to the highway for total quiet, but a really nice spot. Elevation 1567’. Stayed 2 nights. Oct 2020.

This is a great city park. I would encourage anybody passing through to stay here for up to 14 days of free camping. There are 20 of cement pads that are level. We stayed on pad number 4 and there is 30 amp electricity there and a water spicket for water. All for free. There is a secure donation Box at the registrations station. There is a dump station but it's a ways away from the camping area. I'm enclosing a picture from Google Earth with a yellow circle around the area for the dump station.

We were the only ones in the whole park. Its huge, has a really nice playground, and free electric. The water was turned off for the season. We would have happily stayed longer if we had time.

Pleaceful place. Lovely town. Heads up, no water st the site right now, but we were able to get water near the playground. Bathrooms closed right now, for winter. Yes there is some road noise, (not much). And yes the train noise is there from time to time. But nothing that can’t be tolerated for a short time. There is nothing to complain about. Ideal supermarket in town, Ace Hardware, Dollar General also. The people are super kind. We love it here! Second two week visit.

This is a very nice place to camp, was very quiet, maybe because it was Spring Break week, as we were the only ones here. Beautiful little town, with very nice Victorian Homes.
