Let me just say the staff you come in to contact with is awesome. They were very friendly and helpful. We actually tried this on a whim because honestly we could not find anywhere else for Memorial Day weekend. This used to be a KOA, so the yellow street signs will throw you, but they are heavily affiliated with Good Sam's now. One section is 30/50 with full hookups, and closest to the pond is 30 amp water and electric only. Small pool is very refreshing on a very hot day. Fishing available, and if you are more into to seasonal sites instead of driving your camper around, they have a large storage lot. Oh, to stop any confusion, this is now called Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort.

The campground is now called Brunswick Beach Campground and is a former KOA who is now with Good Sam. Pros: Sites were clean and level. Bathrooms, shower, pool, store, and laundry are all at the main office and are clean and functioning well. There are some seasonal residents who've been here a while.
The Campground Wifi was decent from our spot however we only got 2 codes, which meant we could only connect two devices.
Wifi: 3-4 Mbps down / Under 1 Mbps up
AT&T Hotspot: 10-15 Mbps down / 4-5 Mbps up
Verizon: 13-15 Mbps down / under 1 Mbps up
Cons: Sites could use more gravel and are very close together. Cable was included but we only got one station to come in clear. The campground isn't really close to stores, shops, or restaurants. You're looking at a 15 min drive or more.
Overall it's a nice RV park, close to the beach but tucked away. Very quiet when we were there but could be too crowded in peak season for our taste. We'd prefer a state park or at least something closer to the beach if we were to come back this way.

Stayed for 2 nights. Booked last minute when my outer banks trip was hurricaned out. Nice, quiet spot. Not on the beach, but close enough. All the stores you could need within 5 minutes. Everything is clean and well kept. Seemed like a lot of “regulars” here. They have a storage lot here so they drive down and pull their camper across the park to their spot. Everyone was very friendly. I’m brand new to RVing and never felt out of place. Nice big dog walk area. Only suggestion would be to put a fence around part of it for an off leash run.

We have been RVing here off and on for almost five years. We have stored our camper here too and will continue. So very clean, kid and dog friendly, everyone waves and smiles. Staff is sweet and friendly and go out of their way to meet our needs. We even stayed after our house was hit with Tornado Dorean until insurance came through to help us. We will always come here because it feels like a holiday home away from home, safe friendly and a great place to make family memories. Tom n Sharon Hall
