“Beautiful historic home with exceptional lodging”
The Pink Dolphin Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful historic home with exceptional lodging. The Inn was built in 1881 and originally called the Tyler-Rhames House. It hasn't always been pink, but this historic color of the deep South is the heart and warmth of its charm. We invite you to enjoy the cozy fireplaces, heart of pine floors, antique furnishings and double jacuzzis, infused with our personal passion for health, healing, marine wildlife and the sea. Dolphins are intuitive healers, with a joy for life that openly reaches out to others. Pink is the color of the Heart. And so, the Pink Dolphin brings this sense of love and joy to all who choose to enter. We were drawn to this beautiful historic home to open and heal our own hearts, and open its doors to others. From the full Southern Breakfast served each morning, to the Tiptoe Turndown Service in the evening, we strive to make you feel pampered and at home. Your Hosts, Ken and Dianne Thomas Just two blocks from Summerville's quaint Main Street, guests have an easy stroll to the Historic district, which is lined with specialty shops, antique stores and a variety of restaurants. Azalea Park, the home of the "Sculpture in the South" collection and the famous Flowertown Festival, is also only a short walk away
