“discover a new favorite”
At Rogers Ford Farm Winery we planted our first vines in 1980 when the modern Virginia wine industry was still very much in its infancy. We were growers for many years, selling fruit to other wineries. Our first commercial vintage as a farm winery was in 2000. Our winery has grown steadily through the years, not unlike the vines themselves, and we are very proud to have three generation of family working together in the vineyard, winery, and tasting room. We currently produce just over 1000 cases a year, which is tiny by most standards, and that’s the way we like it. Limited and small-case lots allow us to craft wine of rarity and distinction, a product that is unique, genuine, and honest. You’ll discover a new favorite when you taste Rogers Ford wine. Step back into the antebellum south as you stroll through our historic farm dating from 1825. Wine enthusiasts will discover new favorites in our intimate tasting room and Civil War buffs will appreciate the intriguing history behind Roger's Ford. Experience the best of Fauquier County's genteel countryside as you relax in our gazebo, or you can enjoy a bottle of our wine on private grounds overlooking the Rappahannock River (prearrangement required), or hike through the Phelps Wildlife Area.
