The campground is small and everyone is set up close to one another. We are setup next to some rude, obnoxious drunk campers who yell curse words all day and night and play there music very loud. They occupy several sites, so there is no getting away. We complained to the camp hosts and were told that their union paid for their stay until work is available for them, again. They have been here for several months and probably will be here for several more. Not unless you are looking for a party, I would stay far away from this place. Not recommended for families!

Really enjoyed my stay at Sula Campground. Absolutely gorgeous site next to a small pond. Store staff were super nice and accommodating. Campground was quiet and peaceful. I’ll definitely stop here again on my way through Sula next year! Be sure to stop in to the Sula store’s restaurant for Wednesday wing night… delicious! You’ll need to make reservations at the Sula store as seating is limited. The onion rings were crazy good too! I had a fairly good Verizon signal.

We arrived on a day that they were closed. Wendy had already sent me a text to let me know which site was ours. Might be noisy with highway noise during the day but it really quiets down in the evening and all night. The Bitterroot River is right beside the campground. They have a pond with tons of fish in it. No fishing or swimming. Cool to go and watch them. Drove up to the town of Darby. Cool little town. Got a few pictures driving by the Chief Joseph Ranch/ Yellowstone Ranch. They were filming while we were there. Smoke was bad from the forest fires. Very clean laundry, restroom/ shower. Great little store and gas station. They also sell propane. Will definitely be back. Beautiful country

Well maintained grounds with a pond filled with giant rainbow trout. “No swimming, No fishing”. The East Fork of the Bitterroot curves around the campground. Poop bags, shade trees, water, electric, some sites with dump and otherwise a dump station. Clean large laundry, showers with immediate hot water and heated. Store, WiFi, gas station. Highway 93 closer some road noise but not a bother. No cell service. Big rigs good, some pull-thru, some back-in. Excellent hosts and there are several cabins on site. I would definitely stay here again.
