Viking Village Campground

Just 20min outside of Madison, we stayed here for a few months while we transitioned from living in our apartment to living full-time in our new fifth wheel. We absolutely LOVED this rv park. It’s family owned and they are the nicest people. The grounds are maintained beautifully, it’s very quiet and out in the country which is nice. Easy driving to UW Hospital (they’ve hosted a lot of travel nurses here!) Many of the folks that live here in the summer are retired and come back each year. It’s a very close-knit group and everyone is so friendly. As far as 2021 they were only booking monthly stays (about $800/mo full hookups). I don’t know if that’s changed. But we would 100% stay here again when we come back to this area. Pool, coin laundry, mini golf. Dog park and nice walking trails right across the street too. Sites are gravel, big rig friendly.
