“at the base of Blue Ridge Mountains”

We are located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, one-half hours drive north of Charlottesville, Virginia, and two hours south-west of Washington D.C. Nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our family campground offers 80 acres of Virginia woods. The beautiful Skyline Drive is only fifteen minutes away along with the Shenandoah National Park, Jefferson's Monticello, numerous antique stores, vineyards, caverns, historical sites and battlefields. We enjoy eighty acres of Virginia woods and fields abundant with wildlife. Our tent sites are wooded and generous. We can accommodate RVs easily with pull-through sites. We have two camping cabins available for rental. For group camping, we have a large separate field area or extra large tent sites for a unique camping experience try one of our renovated train cabooses! Our sites are generous and our hospitality contagious.

Located on the northern side of Charlottesville, Heavenly Acres is not a large campground. Some sites were very wooded and private whereas others were open. What made it unique is the "caboose" cabins that can be rented.

Heavenly acres was a beautiful site! Friendly staff that made the stay enjoyable. The sites are fairly big (we fit two tents on ours, and parked two cars and was still spacious) but they are close to neighboring sites. Clean bathrooms and showers. We stayed here for a weekend trip to Shenandoah and it was nice because it was close to stores (if you forgot anything) and pretty close to Shenandoah Natl Park. Overall great experience
