“literally, old school”
This little red schoolhouse was constructed in 1870 with bricks made of clay from the banks of a nearby pond. The school was used continuously until 1952. It takes you back in time with old-fashioned desks/built-in ink wells, McGuffey Readers, even a potbelly stove. School students are welcomed to spend a day of class now in the old schoolhouse.
