“where style, gracious hospitality and exceptional service reside”
The Pasfield House is a destination for social and business travelers who wish to stay at a private luxury facility that provides personalized attention. Visitors who are interested in Springfield history, architectural style and interior design will especially want to experience the Pasfield House. An invitation to the historic Pasfield House is like being welcomed to an elegant private home from a bygone era, where style, gracious hospitality and exceptional service is still a way of life. Designated a Springfield Landmark, the 1896 Georgian-style residence is a remarkably preserved architectural treasure that has a most distinctive antebellum flair, and is within easy walking distance of the State Capitol and downtown Springfield. Now Pasfield House owner, amateur local historian Tony Leone, has opened what the State Journal Register proclaimed a Springfield "Showpiece" to the public as a bed and breakfast and the Pasfield House has become Springfield's most elegant overnight destination. The six suites are beautifully appointed, with granite-top kitchenettes and luxurious private Jacuzzi baths with double tubs and showers. All have comfortable reading areas with desks. Some of the suites also have separate sitting rooms. Every detail for pampering guests is provided.
Reviews
Stayed here in August of 2014 with my 9-month-old son. It was our first night on Route 66 and what a pleasant experience! We met the owner, Tony Leone, who was such a friendly, gregarious chap. He told us about the history of the building, and his love for Lincoln. There's even an entire room dedicated to Lincoln memorabilia.
We stayed in a large suite and it was amazing. Massive lounge area with full kitchen, large bathroom, and a great bedroom. Overall, we had an amazing stay and when I pass through Springfield again, I'd definitely stay here.
Here's my experience at the Pasfield House Inn:
We called up late on a Sunday evening and spoke with the inn-keeper, Tony. He was very welcoming and very informative. He gave us some Route 66 DVDs to watch for the evening as he heard we were staring out on our journey to the west.
The property itself is incredible. Built in the mid 1800’s or thereabouts, Tony puts so much love and effort into maintenance. The furniture and decor is just perfect. Highly recommended.
