Arrived after 10 pm and had a very difficult time finding my site. After the fourth time around I stopped at a spot where I believed it was located. The camp host arrived and confirmed it’s located. The small sign was covered by vegetation and the site was narrow leaning and a huge pothole at the most unfortunate area. I pulled straight in and had to stretch my power cord under the RV to reach power box. If had backed in, the RV door would have been blocked by a four foot stacked rock wall. The loop where 19,20,21 and 23 are located is extremely tight uneven and should be dedicated for tent campers. The rest of the park is spacious and well setup. The camp host and his wife are friendly and helpful. I found a private park near Eureka Springs and booked my last two nights there. The road leading to park is very steep and winding. As usual, the locals drive it at top speed.

The drive in has numerous very tight curves on a very narrow road. Meeting other vehicles in these turns was quite unenjoyable. Once in the campground, the host came out and was very helpful, even offering us a site with a nicer view; however, that site had a greater than 90-degree entry and I wasn’t up for trying to back our trailer into that tight a spot, but it did have the nicest view.
We did a lap around the CG to get to our spot and noticed the roads, which were all one-way except the main, outer loop, did not have markings to show the correct way one should go. We also noticed many (most) spots would only be suitable for a truck camper or class B, even then, the power outlet may be on the wrong side.
The positives are that, if you can arrive safely and get a spot suitable for your rig, it is very pretty, full of trees (many pecan trees), has a little deer heard, and the facilities were very clean and looked to be brand new. We would come again if we had a smaller rig and could get one of the “good” sites. We stayed in site 23, which was right along the road with a steep drop off outside the passenger side of the camper. It was easy to get into and had the power on the correct side as well as a nice view of the lake through the trees. It would not be a great site for privacy on a busy day as it is right along the main road to the marina, so gets the most traffic.

This park is super beautiful! It is right on the water, so it has everything you need for a perfect summer camping experience. However, it’s not managed or laid out well. Like others have said, it’s really only set up to handle tenters or smaller trailers. The roads are one vehicle wide, but they’re two-way, so I don’t know what happens when someone is going the opposite direction of you at the same time. Also there is no regulation on parking extra vehicles/boats. There were a ton of campsites with >4 vehicles and others with multiple vehicles and boats. All either parked on the campsite (tearing it up and looking trashy) or blocking half of the single lane road.
If they simply did some work to make all roads one way (they’d have to shift some driveways) and regulate additional vehicles and boat parking, it would be a lovely park. Right now it feels like a free for all with no one regulating anything. We won’t be back, but we really loved our campsite (15), even though the electrical was unusable due to it being on the opposite side of the campsite from the trailer parking. We have solar, so it was okay, but would be quite a shock for someone not equipped to handle that last minute.
