Riverside Motel

Originally established in the 1950s, the motel has remained in our family ever since and is Southport's only motel directly on the Cape Fear River. Relax on the back porch and watch passing boats and ships where the Cape Fear River and Intracoastal Waterway meet. Large Ships like this yang ming line ship pass by Lois Janes and the Riverside Motel daily Our rooms have TV's, air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Some rooms have a single Queen Bed while others have two Full Size Beds. There is a 2 night minimum on weekends, please contact us for details or see the reservations page. Bring the kids, but sorry no pets are allowed. The Riverside Motel is managed through the Riverview Inn just across the street. Most of Southport's restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Its all about location and I think its safe to say the Riverside Motel is in the most desirable location in Southport.
