We arrived here during the week leading up to Labor Day weekend. We were one of only a few people in the campground and it was nice and quiet. But as the weekend neared, the park filled up and it was kinda crazy! Sites are level asphalt pads located one on top of another. There are fire pits but they are so close to campers that it seems dangerous. There is a nice playground that our kids loved. The bathrooms and showers were clean and convenient. There is a pool that we enjoyed until it was discovered that it turned all of our blonde hair green! The park is about 7 miles from the lakes edge and is very close to a bike path that goes into town. Not sure how it happened but, a frog managed to get into our camper and hopped right into our bed here one night!
