Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 09, 2020The check in was easy and outstanding service even in the middle of the pandemic. The shower facilities are clean and well maintained. They have two pools but the upper pool is out of service. There are many gathering places (for family reunions, etc.) but they are old and fading. The river is beautiful where you can see it. The main attraction is to get in a shuttle and go tubing upriver ending up at the camp. The camp is “family friendly” which means it is full of dogs and kids making noise and the clientele are trashy but respectful. If you are staying overnight, stay up above. If you want to enjoy all the water features, stay by the river. Only a few sites have sewer but electric and water are easy to get. I signed up for a 30 amp site but was given a 20 amp site and told “no air conditioners.” Sites to visit include Stillwater, MN, Hudson, WI, Willow River Falls State Park (need a Wisconsin State Park permit - $38 for nonresidents).

This campground is very loud! Really close to the interstate and you can barely sit outside without being right on top of the people next to you. The sites are very uneven and we had a hard time getting level. NO SHADE whatsoever. Not clean either.
