Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on September 29, 2023Mostly flat, green grass,a few shady spots, enough room between rigs all make this a great overnighter for an rv. Best part is the freeway noise is blocked even though it 2 or 3 minutes off 84
This is just basically a large field with gravel roads and sites, but it was convenient for my stopover. There are a few back in sites that will provide shade on a hot day and big enough for my trailer and truck not to unhook. When you get to the park, just self-register at the cabin that sits near the entrance. If I remember correctly, they only take cash or check, no credit cards. There is a driving range also but I didn't use it so can attest to its usefulness. The owners have a very friendly big, big puppy that loved to play with Q-dog in the large grassy field.
They have remodeled private showers, but I believe only 2, yes 2 in total. So if it was real crowded might be an issue but not during my stay.
NOTE: This is now called Earp & James Hitching Post RV Park.

Basic site but clean and very safe feeling for an overnight stay. Met friendly travellers so naturally enjoyed ourselves. Not far off the interstate but still reasonably quiet and didn't notice the traffic noise in the distance
End of season so no laundry due to renovations - but wifi worked well.

Perfect overnight stop. Easy access from the interstate but far enough away there was no road noise. Perfect Verizon reception.
Self check in with honor system payment. $5 discount for military/vets.
The only ding is the water connection is far from the power so be sure to have a long hose or power cord.
Not sure about amenities such as the bath house as we didn’t use it. Only a few rigs were there so it was very quiet.
There are only 5, 50amp sites and the rest 30amp. All nice big pull thrus.
Very enjoyable and relaxing spot for an overnight. We’ve stayed here before and will do so again.

Nice, fairly level gravel site with grass surrounding it. Picnic table at the spot. A basic, simple pull thru that has beautiful views. Also enjoyed watching the birds and hawk overhead. Very peaceful with easy access to I-84. Simple self check-in. Perfect for an overnight stay.

The price is typically $30 but they let us stay for $15 as we dry camped...a lot of places want full price either was.
Nice RV spot with some back in but mostly pull through and plenty of room for a big rig.
It’s not very far from the interstate highway so some distant tire noise but nothing overpowering. A reasonable space between sites, a little grass and a table 😀
Would definitely stay at again.

Great place. Just read the title of this review over again. I've never been to an rv park more peaceful.
Drawbacks: nothing but a diner and a Flying J (both very close) for almost an hour in any direction. Also, there's nobody running the place. Great when everybody plays by the rules, but there were quite a few campers that showed up at like 10pm, made a ruckus, hooked up, never paid, and took off at 8am. No skin off my back excpet when they wake me up laughing about how they aren't going to pay and slamming their doors in the middle of the night.
Also, there's only 1 toilet and 1 shower. Didn't pose a problem while there, though...

This campground is nice as is the owners. We just feel there isn’t much to offer for $30 a night.

Stayed one night on way to Idaho. Average quality sites. Showers ok, no laundry. For the price it was fine. Older place with lots of empty spaces. Just self check in and pick a spot. Lots of pull through sites. We used a back in spot to take advantage of the large shade trees. Just a few minutes from interstate. Gas stations at interstate exit. Didn’t see any other stores in the area.

We stayed one night and we would definitely stay here again. We paid $30 for 30 amp and water. More for FHU. We didn’t use the bathroom or shower. Very scenic setting.
