Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 10, 2021After looking for an elusive city park campground a little bit north of here, we gave up and headed toward somewhere where we could dump tanks, fill water, etc. This was the closest option. The proprietor took our credit card info over the phone and said to choose any open site when we arrived.
The CG is very close to I-29, but far enough away to not hear freeway noise. It was an interesting place. The sites were very close together if it were full with one facing one direction and the other facing the other direction. Luckily, it was empty enough to not have anyone next to us. It was FHU, 30 amp and had some tree branches that needed trimming to not cause problems.
It looks like a CG that had an idea to be a destination, rather than an overnight stop. There is a shed that says "craft shed". Another building that says recreation building. A kids playground with carry-out food containers half eaten left on top. Multiple cars, old RVs, and a few horses.
But, it was quiet and other than extremely high water pressure, everything worked fine and we were glad to have somewhere to stop.

Accommodating owners helped us out coming in late. While park it’s self is nothing to write home about, it gave us what needed for the night, electricity, water, sewer, and decent WiFi. Would stay again if passing thru.

Easy access, full hookups, and nice operators. Basically a gravel parking lot with hookups. Wifi was ok.
Looks like a lot of long term occupants. OK campground for an overnight.

The photo of the two Class A motor homes parked is fairly accurate; in the opposite direction it is congested with campers. The hook-ups are are old and dilapidated with side-by-side sites. The 30 amp did not work at post 11, but 50 amp had power. The water pressure is abnormally high, so you need to use a regulator. The driveway and pads are gravel and dirt, there are no paved site pads. I stayed for one night and for that, it is an easy-off/easy-on location from I-29. There is no highway noise; Verizon was two bars of LTE in Aug2023.
