Note that this is a dirt road and four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. There is a scenic overlook about 5 miles up the road, and it continues 2.5 miles past that before reaching a dead end. Visitors who do not have four-wheel drive, high clearance vehicles can still access the views from the end of Sheep Mountain Table by foot. Park at the overlook on top of the table and hike on the dirt road for 2.5 miles to reach the end of the road.
