CreekFire Motor Ranch is a newer RV campground and as such you'll find that some things are still under construction as of June 2018 (like the lake facilities that will eventually have rentals and a restaurant). The rest of the resort itself is amazingly well kept and the amenities are many. Golf cart rentals, a camp store, a huge pool with cabanas (for rent) and a kids pool that's about a foot deep with a small slide but ample room give you tons to do during your stay. There are tons of games in a covered outdoor area, as well as a bar area where they occasionally do drinks.
The sites are a decent size, nothing to write home about, but accommodate even big rigs with ease. There are two sections, one by the lake, one closer to the pool, that give the option of the type of stay you'd like. We opted for lake view and were pleasantly surprised at the quiet vibe out near our spot. Options for both pull-thru and back-in and tons of walking trails and paved roads for bike riding.
It was about 20 minutes to Savannah (downtown) making it a great spot outside the city to make home base but close enough to enjoy all that Savannah has to offer. Right off I-95, but hidden back away from the noise CreekFire will definitely be a place we stay again in the future.

This RV park was fantastic! The sites are huge - we had a large pull-through site for our 39’ fifth wheel. The site was level, clean, and easy to get into - there is a good amount of space between each site.
The campground was extremely clean; people were very friendly and accepted packages for us while we were there; the pool and hot tub are great and the laundry facilities were pristine (like new) and accepted credit cards. It is very quiet at night as well. The only downside is that one night the wind blew in a direction that you could smell the paper plants and it was awful. Not the fault of the RV park -but don’t be surprised if you are awaken by a foul smell. Just a hazard of this part of the country.
We did not take advantage of this - but if you sign up for the trolley tour it will pick you up at the RV park, which is nice.
The drive into Savannah was about 20 minutes - very easy; and another 20 minute drive to Wormsloe Plantation which is breathtaking.
There is a great seafood market about one mile down the road. Don’t be put off by what it looks like- the fish is great and fresh.

This resort is so nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. They are so well organized. Our registration packet was ready upon our arrival. They guided us to our site. The sites are level and so nice for big rigs. The resort has a lot of amenities. Our site was close to the pool and game areas. The lake area sites are also very nice.
The resort offers a shuttle service to downtown Savannah which we took advantage of.

Excellent location and awesome facility which continues to have new attractions added. If you have young kids, you will not be unhappy with the nightly rate! For us grand folks, it’s great to see the kids having fun here and there is no lack of attractions for us in Savannah and the management is very friendly and accommodating!

The campground is very well taken care of. Everything was very clean. Climate controlled, huge showers. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pool and splash area were super clean and not overly crowded. Not very many lounge chairs, but never had trouble finding one while we were there. You can check out pool sticks and balls, ping pong, darts, fooseball, basketballs, tennis stuff from the front desk (all included). They had rock painting for the kids on Sat afternoon ($1 per rock) and live music under the pavilion Sat night. Very kid friendly resort. The ONLY thing that this place lacks is shade. Don’t think there was a single site with even partial shade.

Where do I even begin?!?... this place is gorgeous the minute you turn in the entrance. Greeted by a huge live oak and a beautiful white southern styled clubhouse with wrap around porch. You definitely feel like you are in Savannah.
We’ve stayed at this park for spring break in 2018 and came back again for 2019 because we loved it so much. We plan to continue to make visits for years to come. This is a new resort that has been well designed with attention to details. The sites are large and easily accommodates the largest rigs I’ve ever seen while we visited.
We stayed in the back by the lake both years. The view of the water is lovely and we love fishing for bass. They were still building a new restaurant on the lake when we visited last but I believe it’s open now.
Some perks to this place are:
- heated pool and large jacuzzi
- golf cart rentals available
- very clean laundry facility
- clean club house and public bathrooms & bathhouse
- fun walking trail around the lake
- shuttle to downtown Savannah (costs extra)
- lots of activities for the kids (games, outdoor movies, special events, etc)
- beautiful cabins / tiny houses for rent
- Black Rifle Coffee Shop is a MUST VISIT when staying at Creekfire. It is only half a mile from the entrance of the resort and has the best coffee and awesome apparel supporting veterans, active duty and first responders.
Areas that need improvement:
- dog park is just a square fenced area behind the maintenance building with no grass and two chairs. Most people don’t even know it’s there so never any other pups to play with. It’s also nowhere near any of the RV sites so you have to drive to it. I know they are still expanding the park with plans to update the dog park in the future but they should really relocate it for better access.
- the clubhouse barely carries any necessities or things you’d typically find in a club house convenience shop at a RV park so if you need anything expect to leave the resort

Extremely nice pool, laundry takes credit cards, level sites, great customer service, walking trail 1 mile, lake, good location to Savannah (20 minutes), they are working hard on landscaping. Lake Bath House needs help. New restaurant will be beautiful. Clubhouse is lovely. Sites are right but nice. Will definitely come back.

We don’t do many RV Parks, but this one is nice. It’s great to splurge sometimes. I love the design of the office/pool. For full review see my video on The Gimpy Camper.

Stayed here for two nights in one of their lake front spots. Our trailer was a small fry amongst the giant motorhomes. The camp is well-kept, there’s a nice pool along with a restaurant. Nice playground for the kids, and they are also building a lazy river. Lots of amenities here. Would definitely visit again
