“Life is like a.....bench”
This is where the bench from Forrest Gump was located. The one way sign is supposedly sitting where it once was. Be sure sure to bring a a bunch of stories and feather to drop and watch fall to the ground.
Actually... The bench that Tom Hanks sits on, was in fact a movie prop. It was put there for the movie by film crews, and never existed other than as such. There are other benches in this square (Chippewa Square) that you can sit on and enjoy that were always a part of that square, sadly just not the one that most people come looking so fervently for.
Go on any Savannah tour and you'll make a stop here for sure.
