Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on September 06, 2022Nice little campground - especially if you want a decent place somewhat close to the airport, Minneapolis, Mall of America. Clean and well kept. Sites wide enough but only long enough for rig - need to unhook toad. Inner roads however are narrow and depending on other peoples parking, can be quite tight to get rig out.
This is an RV park on the edge of a metro area, but when you are in the park, it feels like you could be out in the country. There are big trees all around. The owners and staff are very friendly are always busily fixing things and making the park nice. The hookups are great. The pool is nice, although a bit small for the number of people in the park.
My only caveat is that the spots are a bit small for modern large rigs. You can fit, but it takes some back and forth and some tricky driving. If you are over 35 feet, you may want to consider nearby Mystic Lake, which is also very nice and has huge spots.
But if you want to be close to everything without feeling like you are parked next to a highway, this is a great park for that.
As a bonus, if you want to walk somewhere for a meal, nearby Tin Shed Pizza is great.

Check in went well-- staff is very nice and accommodating BUT please know that spots are RIDICULOUSLY small/tight-- I could almost touch 3 other rigs from our picnic table. Most residents are seasonal and while some were friendly, they mostly kept to themselves. Train noise was fairly loud and occurred as early as 5/6AM, highway noise was not as loud, but still occurred. WiFi was awful, could barely check email/social media. Pool was nice, but very small. All in all, other than location, I can't recommend, especially at nearly $70/night (which included upcharges for kids/dogs)-- we only booked here as we didn't have any other local options for a last minute camping weekend. Also, the owner's sister (lives on site) was TRULY AWFUL-- yelled at my husband for walking our dog on her property (there were NO signs to suggest/warn not to, she literally lives IN the park, nor did our dog pee/poo on her lawn, he literally only walked there)-- and then she complained about our dogs making noise (twice, during the day, while they were inside our rig fully supervised and making zero noise)-- the staff member apologized that he had to respond to the complaint and hinted strongly that she wasn't reasonable. It IS a great/convenient location but we prefer larger spots and somewhere that a single stray bark during the day won't elicit a noise compliant and without train/road noise, especially when it is nearly double the price that we typically pay at other parks.

Just a wonderful experience in this smaller, family owned RV park. Outstanding location for access to the Twin Cites. This place is super clean, comfortable and friendly. The grandkids enjoyed playing at the playground and swiming in the pool. The park is also a trailhead access to some nice hiking trails. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to be long timers. Perhaps the best part though is there is absolutely no riff-raff and quiet hours are strictly enforced which all but insured a good nights sleep. Relatively big-rig friendly, a little tight but comfortable with my 42' Class A. Weekends are full, so make your reservations early but midweek is very quiet and maybe 50% occupied. Wifi works great during the week, but slows significantly on the weekend as you would expect. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had no expectations of how this would work out but Joe and KP made us very welcome. Site is tidy, a little tight but overall good value and we would certainly stay again.

We stayed 3 nights to spend some time visiting Minneapolis. Best reason to stay here is proximity to Minneapolis area. Campground is well run with friendly staff and courteous greeter who helps guide you to your space. Very tightly packed and not particularly scenic but that was not what we stayed for. Site was level and facilities worked well. Only complaint is extremely long run to the sewer hookup at the back of the campsite with hose running uphill at the end, making tank draining a big pain. Would stay again if visiting Minneapolis.

We absolutely love this campground. We have been several times and it’s quiet and clean. The staff is TOP NOTCH! Very friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower facilities are large, clean, and well maintained. The kids absolutely loved the playground and salt water pool. We will definitely be booking a few more stays. Conveniently located close to the Twin Cities, Mall of America, Valley Fair, and Eagan Outlet Mall.

The roads are narrow, the spaces are short, so you pull your vehicle up beside your RV unless you have a shorter RV and you can park in front. It's gravel sites with paved road, trees. The gravel site wasn't level as it was lower in the back. We had to use wood underneath the back tires and back 2 jacks. The WiFi is okay most of the time. The pool and bath house we did not use; the pool the size of a postage stamp, and the bath house is used a LOT. Antenna TV was fairly good reception with CBS and NBC. Phone service was excellent. These people are very nice and someone in a golf cart leads you to your space. It's a tight maneuver with a 33 ft Class A but folks pulled 5th wheels and travel trailers down the roads. When we parked, back in, the folks next to us had to move their truck. This is a great location for seeing St. Paul/Minneapolis. The roadways in this area are under a lot of construction with many detours, but they are marked very well. I'd stay here again but call earlier for a reservation to get sewer as this was just E/W. They have a dump station on the way out. I don't see anyplace for us to hook our tow vehicle up as we'd totally block a road. I noticed that another Class A hooked their tow up right outside the entrance as that road is very wide, and you can safely do that on the side of the road pulled up to the curb.
