Falling Waters Preserve is one of two nature preserves that is part of Esopus Creek Conservancy.
Lovely stop on our way to Albany. Quiet and clean, quick trails for leisurely stroll.
So kind of crazy to get to, through a Dominican Nun retreat center, but even the “small falls” as a local told us, were worth walking to, and the larger falls were supposed to be better! Great stop to stretch our legs and not too far out of the way. The Quick Check on the way back to the highway was a perfect bathroom break- no facilities.
