Cedar Point is most famous for its numerous record-breaking rollercoasters, but its other claims to fame are being the second-oldest amusement park still in operation, having technically opened in 1870, and that it's the most-visited seasonal theme park. The aforementioned record-breaking coasters, including Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, Top Thrill Dragster, and Valravn (all of which look straight out of my childhood Rollercoaster Tycoon fantasies) are probably a big part of its popularity. Not a fan of stomach-turning inversions and heart-poundingly massive drops? Don't worry; they have loads of thrill rides, kid-friendly attractions, and a waterpark, too.
