Crystal Rock Campground

A great campground not far from I90, plenty of pull thru sites with full hookup, rec room with ping pong, arcade games, pool table, playground for the kids (swings large enough for adults), clean restrooms & showers, small store with essentials. The folks in the office were extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this camp and would be happy to return if ever in this area again.
I gave a 4 star instead of 5 strictly due to no WIFI..I would have rated 4.5 but TA doesn't offer that option. The only network my devices could find was a pre-pay network (no streaming) which wouldn't allow me to register. I would have paid but couldn't. My Sprint cell service was nil, even with data roaming. Other than no WIFI, this is five star

Stopped for an overnight on our way out west. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. Didn’t get to check out the game room but it had pool, ping pong and a couple arcade games. A very nice place to stay.

The front office staff is super nice. Very typical campground. It is right next to a highway, though, so we heard cars and trucks zooming by all night. We did not use the showers because they looked a little iffy. Not bad. Not amazing.

The campground is a smaller one and we were lucky to call in the morning and get a spot for that day. We had full hookups with 50amp power and they had a number of cabins and sites available.

The owners were there and helped us get into our spot. A nice playground was great for my son to play on with some tetherball, swings, slides, etc. It's a bit out in the country so while there's some road noise it's not too bad and there wasn't really semi traffic or the like to worry about.

The spots were pretty level gravel pad with a picnic table and fire ring. It was some 25min to get into Cedar Point for a day of rollercoasting. Afterwards we went to Casa Las Palmas for a really good post-park day dinner.

We fit ok in our 34' long Jayco Eagle travel trailer and they do have pull throughs for larger rigs. However, I think the number of spots larger trailers have available will be limited.

Liked the place and owners. Clean, easy and comfortable. Spaces were tight but only on busy weekend. WiFi coverage good. Quiet.

Owners very nice, campground clean, pretty quiet, bathrooms were ok and level site. We had an electrical issue but it was resolved ASAP. Would definitely recommend this campground.

Nice place. Friendly staff good 30amp hookup. Close to a lot of activities in the Sandusky, Port Clinton area. Clean bathrooms. Near animal safari land. Near put-in-bay. Near Cesar Point and Lake Erie fishing. Quiet mid-week. Good WiFi

Very laid back, low-key campground in a great location. We stayed for 11 days and it wasn’t very crowded, even on the weekends, which was good because the sites are a little on the small side. Showers and bathrooms were fairly clean. Owners were nice and check in was quick and easy.

Great rates and very convenient location close to Cedar Point, Lake Erie, Put-In-Bay, Kelleys Island, etc.

We stayed while visiting family in northern Ohio. Wonderful couple just opened this summer. They were most helpful and are making nice improvements to the facilities. Walked every morning in the tree lined park. We’d stay again.
