We were visiting family in the area, so this was the closest park. Very very nice and maintained campground, wish we could have done some things locally but the weather was foul outside. We will be back in the summer.

great camping area for families...plenty to keep the kidos occupied... pool...paddle boats..fishing was great.. put put.. decent bathhouse. Laid back atmosphere. Bring your own putter and golf balls. No extra fees for any activities. There was a petting zoo but we did not visit it.

The county is well aware of the improvements needed to make the laundry and bath houses open, but the corporate owners aren’t getting these fixed bc their septic system isn’t working properly.

Laundry room closed during the week, but don't ask any questions about it or they will tell you "it's none of your business why". I'll tell you why - it's due to ongoing sewage system issues. This place is one of the more expensive parks in the area, yet their maintenance and facilities were substandard. The sites were VERY unlevel, some so bad that you will not be able to level & stabilize your RV. The gravel on all the sites is overgrown with grass & weeds. It seems that the new owners have bitten off more than they could chew on this one. They are unwilling to put the proper funding to bring this park up to their advertised status. If you read other reviews, the disrepair is a common theme for which they continually apologize for. I say quit apologizing and put some capital investment in this place - level the sites, get the sewage fixed & keep up with the maintenance once you've fixed everything. Then you can call yourself a resort. Till then, you're just an overpriced "campground" where guests should lower their expectations & be prepared to overpay.

It’s nice. The owner has been trying to sell the place and told me he finally did. Hopefully the new owners are accommodating and enthusiastic as it is a really nice location with nice rustic amenities. This is our second stay and we would stay again.
