Campers seeking a peaceful escape to the countryside will be thrilled with this rural charmer in northeast Ohio. Salem/Lisbon KOA spreads out across 65 acres, home to more than 60 species of birds and a catch-and-release fishing lake. The Olympic-size outdoor heated swimming pool is a delight, as is the recent addition of a splash pad with its spray flowers, dumping buckets and a water tunnel for kids of all ages. It's an easy drive to many of the area's festivals, casinos, wineries and covered bridges. Enjoy large, level RV Sites (all full hookups), lakeside Tent Sites, Deluxe Cabins (many open all year) and themed weekends throughout the summer. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. My wife and I enjoyed our weekend stay at the Salem/Lisbon KOA. Being only about 30 minutes from home, it provided a very nice, quiet place to camp to get away from our normal neighborhood. There were things for the children to do to keep busy and they had a dog park area. We definitely recommend this campground and would stay again. They also have a cabin set up for handicap people to use camping. See my video links below to view the campground and the handicap cabin.

We needed an overnight on our trip east and made reservations at this KOA. We are underwhelmed. We may, however, not be the best candidates for such a place as it seems very kid and young family oriented with a pool, splash pad and bounce pad. Traveling as a mid 60s couple - I don’t see the bounce pad in our future. We were escorted to our lot by a helpful guide but disappointed to find we were among the many year rounders. We passed units with porches, landscaping, and even yard ornaments. We ended up with a view of numerous storage sheds and the camper next to us had permanent pvc plumbing in place. Not our idea of camping. Our lot is level (thank you) but unremarkable on the positive side.

Great Place To Stay!! Amazing 3.5 Acre Lake In The Center Of The Campground!!! Koa Patio Site Was Awesome With The Lake View!! Water Pressure And Internet Lacked A Little When It Filled Up For The Weekend But The Atmosphere Is Second To None With The Best Staff And Absolutely Spotless Campground Bathrooms Office Not One Cigarette But On The Grounds Anywhere!! Beyond Satisfied
