This place is the friendliest, best place on earth. The people who own the park are absolutely wonderful. It is very dog friendly - the whole park is made for dogs! There are manicured dog parks with porch swings, an agility dog park, swimming ponds for your dogs, a fishing pond. Some sites have decks, fenced in yards, though you can make a little fenced in yard at your own site if you wish. The office has a little gifts & essentials shop which is adorable and helpful. I wish I could live here forever. There are lots of trees and shade brush, so the entire space stays cooler than most. Very well done.

Not for 2 legs.. this place is DOGGY HEAVEN!
HOT, POWERFUL showers, drinking water is delish they have laundry on site. Lighted paths for those 3 am potty runs. 18 poo bag stations all over.
The owners have a dream for a place of diversity and peace and they are well on their way to it!
Everything is clean and tidy.

We stayed 3 nights the weekend prior to Halloween. The owners held a meet & greet Friday night, doggie costume parade Saturday, and potluck with awards for pet costumes. Fun weekend. The facilities are outstanding. Bathrooms super clean, heaters in each bathroom, great shower, cute decorations. Also a nice size laundry area and a separate room for bathing your furry friend. They provide a garbage can at your site along with a bag for recycling. I took my dogs to each park...agility, several play parks... and separate parks for big and small dogs. The staff was super helpful and checked nightly if you want firewood which they deliver. Doggie bags located throughout the park. The sites are nicely spaced with trees all around. Our dogs had so much fun they slept all night without once having to get up and go out. Very level sites, with good hookups. Our site had a deck with attached fenced area for our dogs. Super great.

Excellent campground. Owners take pride and it shows. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. Will defiantly come back to stay. Sites are gravel, spacious under a shady canopy.

We intended to stay a week and stayed a month. The mission is to provide a great camping experience for all and focus on a dog retreat. We don’t have a dog but enjoyed all of the our neighbors pets. We would and will come back with or without a dog.

Had been planning a trip up the Outer Banks. Hurricane decided otherwise. Made a reservation here last minute for 2 nights. Ended up staying 4. It’s a great campground. Incredibly well maintained. You can tell the owners love and take pride in their business. The staff was always out working to maintain and improve the grounds. My dog absolutely loved it here (especially the pond park...she’s a lab). There are many fenced dog parks for the pups to get off the leash and run. We were always able to have a park to ourselves even when it started filling up towards the weekend. Beautiful area of NC. We spent a day up at Lake Lure and Chimney Rock playing in the river and enjoying the views and much cooler weather.

An adorable little campground about an hour away from Asheville. We were in the are to watch the leaves turn and this was the perfect RV campground for us. We stayed three nights with our dog, who didn't want to leave. They have several dog runs for large and small dogs, a pond in which dogs can swim, and a private dog run in case your dog needs a little more space. We participated in the happy hour and made new four-legged acquaintances -- very fun!! Our dog received complimentary homemade puppy ice cream and didn't want to leave. That weekend they offered musical entertainment and pizza to-go, made on site. Very yummy. We will definitely be back and hope to bring friends and their fur babies the next time. For those who may not have a camper, they do have yurts and tiny houses on the property.

This was our second trip to Four Paws. Staff is friendly and helpful. Go slow coming in off the main road as some areas have a few pot holes and it's about a 6% grade. This is a beautiful wooded campground that is thoroughly maintained.

A wonderful campground centered around dogs. There are large and small dog areas, a large pond, an agility course, a coursing area, and a couple of private areas for dogs that may be a bit antisocial. There is also a trainer on site. The campground is well laid out with sites not too close. There are also cabins, trailers and yurts for people without an RV to stay in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My Corgi and I had a wonderful time.
