“North Georgia's best kept secret!”
Nestled in the rolling hills of Georgia’s upper Piedmont, this is one of northern Georgia’s best kept secrets. A beautiful stream flows through the park, providing the perfect setting for an after-picnic stroll. Hikers can follow either the short nature trail or the longer perimeter trail that travels through hardwoods and crosses creeks. Animal lovers should keep an eye out for wildlife while passing food plots along the perimeter trail. Two small ponds are open for public fishing, and a swimming pool is open during summer. Campers can stay overnight in the small, comfortable campground. Golfers will enjoy the park’s Highland Walk Golf Course with clubhouse, golf pro, junior/senior rates and junior golf program. The course is built on steep, rolling hills with broad, crowned Bermuda fairways leading to generous, sloping Bermuda greens. The course’s Bluebird Cottage is available for overnight golf packages.

Great park with large sites. Well maintained and level sites. 30 amp. Hiking trails and golf course looks nice nearby but did not play. Stream/Creek runs through the park. No full-hook ups like most state parks unless you are a host.

We spent 2 nights on an impromptu camping weekend only an hour or so from our front door and had a quiet, peaceful time relaxing at Victoria Bryant State Park. This is a small park but well designed with mostly back in sites and also some pull through sites. It's non-site specific for reservations so we picked our site upon arrival. Ours, site #17, was a back in site but was plenty big enough to put our 22' trailer with lots of room to spare.
There was a fair amount of privacy with some trees between sites but not tons of privacy. The park was very quiet however. During the day there were lots of kids at the playground and having a good time but it quieted down quickly once the sun went down.
Bathrooms were typical GA State Park bathrooms. Functional, clean, but a bit dated. Our loop had two showers and the hot water and showers were fine.
You have to pay for the firewood at the front of the park at the Station and the ranger gives you a receipt, and then you pick up the firewood from the camp host. We ended up having to walk back to the Station again not realizing this.
There is a nice hiking trail near by that you can walk to from the park but it's probably easier to drive to the trail head. There's not much else around the area but it's a beautiful rural area of Georgia. The small town of Royston is right outside the park grounds and has a grocery store and other shops for everything you might need.
We'll be back here for another weekend visit sometime soon.

Beautiful wooded park with creek, sites are large and mostly level, water and electric, fire ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. Add $5 for park entry fee. Several playgrounds, a pool, and a nature center. Host site is #5. We will come back to this beautiful park when we have more time to explore it. Several hiking trails in park we did not get to explore. Knocked it on access due to the long drive on narrow winding country roads. We camped on a Sunday night and it was practically deserted.

This state park was awesome, all around! The park is about 15 minutes from I-85, but the roads between were in good condition, with broad lanes and some shoulder, and I had no problems navigating in my 35ft Class A. When you enter the park, you should take the first right and pull over to park (near the dump station), then walk across the road to check in at the office because there is not a large vehicle turn around at the office. Check in was friendly, fast and easy. I was in spot 32, a back in site. Most back in RV sites are super easy, roomy and looked mostly level. There were several pull thrus, as well. All sites are well graveled and roomy. I had 50amp and water hookups, both conveniently placed on the edge of the site. This park was very quiet - the benefit of being 8-9 miles from the interstate. The interior park roads are in excellent condition good for driving and dog walking. It is hilly country, so maybe a challenging bike ride. My dog and I walked several trails, many of which run along the creek/river that runs through the park and around the lake. There were trails of varying difficulty, plus the park roads, so all types of walkers have lots of choices. There were park workers frequently making the rounds, doing maintenance, etc, so it felt very safe, although the park was mostly empty as freezing temps arrived. My Verizon phone and jetpack had very good coverage. I don’t have satellite or cable tv, so not sure about that reception.

Quiet park with level sites. Mostly 30 amp but a couple of 50 amp site's. Mostly back in sites. Very wooded. Great for hiking and if you like golf you will love the State Park Golf course. Don't forget to visit the Ty Cobb museum in Royston about 10 minutes away. And if you want good BBQ visit BH BBQ in Royston as well......

Absolutely obnoxious guests in Site 6. They hosted a late night block party with loud talk among adults and children. Also, they showed poor parental supervision, letting their children run up and down the path late at night. It was SOOOOO rude and we left a day early because of it and not getting any sleep. I'm actually shocked at the park for permitting this to occur!! We have stayed here before and it was very enjoyable. What a let down!! Additionally, we do not think it's appropriate to solicit participation in a "christian" religious event at the campground. We had a couple come by with their children to invite us to a "gospel reading" at 9 a.m. This is 2021!! It's o.k. to put up flyer for such, but not ride around and visit each camp site to solicit participation in such an event!!! WOW!!!!!!

A very nice state park campground. Only 27 RV sites and 8 tent sites. The north loop with sites 20-27, is a bit less crowded. All sites are packed gravel, with electric and water hookups and a large patio area. The campground is on top of a ridge, so most sites look down into a wooded area. This means driving up a hill, but it is not bad. We didn't use the tent sites, but they appear awesome, covered wood decks with patios, grills, and electricity. The dump can handle two rigs at once. When arriving to the park, the headquarters is ahead on the left, but there is no turnaround and the road beyond is steep and narrow. Turn right and park near the dump site, then walk across to the headquarters. There are no large tourist attractions in the area, but trails, small towns, and other state parks, or just relax in this quiet park. Royston is about 5 minutes away; not a large town, but has groceries, fast food, and fuel. We enjoyed our weekend here.

First time here, small park but so peaceful. We were in site 12 and while the living area was huge it might be best as a buddy site with #11. We had fabulous neighbors but their living area and fire pit was about 6 feet from our camper. Not an issue with friends or good neighbors but if you had a noisy crew next door it could be a problem. Very nice park hosts who were always working on the sites. Nice trails around the park. My husband played the Highland Walk Golf course, the hilliest course we’ve ever seen. Also visited the Ty Cobb museum in Royston and ate at the Beebop Bakery and Cafe. Excellent food and service.
If you are a tent camper they have the coolest tent platforms I’ve ever seen.
The park staff also deserve a shout out. We had an issue with our electric box upon arrival and the park manager came right out to fix it. He also came out the next morning when it popped up again. They went above and beyond for us.

We love this place. Stayed there in November so it was very quiet. There were many deer roaming the green space.
