Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 23, 2018Off highway 11 about 1 1/2 miles on the NE side of town. In a gorgeous city park, but only a few campsites available for RV's. We were there in mid Septemeber on a Friday and everything was taken either by seasonals or reserved spaces occupied by campers but no people present. Probably a local secret and the place is locked up for the regular crowd.
Too bad, cause it is in a lovely park on a river and they are building a pond behind the C/G.
Call to check on availability before making a long drive to a remote city in NW MN.

Beautiful clean park in the city. Easy online reservations. Water, electric at site. We use 50 amp. Dump station at park. Large and easy access. Large lots with lots of grassy areas. Free wood at campsite for fire pit. Quiet and relaxing.

Starting with the bad, it is in the path of the airport so you will hear planes and choppers on occasion. ( I however like those sounds so no problem by me). The only other thing is no stirs within walking distance. That’s all I see on the negative. You can’t beat the price and the sites are very spacious with tables and fire rings. The rings are a ways from the RV but again, very spacious sites. Good 30 amp power with water at the site ( we did not use the water so no comments on it ). The bathrooms were ok, nothing to write home about but again nothing bad either. Overall nice stay, cops rolled by a couple times and the attached park closes at 10pm to non campers so you will not go wrong.
We have a 36’ class A pulling a Jeep toad, plenty of room.
