Truck issues left us searching last minute for a place to stay for one night while traveling East on I-44. That's how we stumbled across this absolute gem of a park!
You can make a quick, online reservation (easy online check-in too if desired) and pull in any time of night. Once we were settled in our site, the kind owner Floyd drove by to make sure we had what we needed and give us codes to access their Wifi and Laundry facilities.
This park is REALLY nicely maintained. It's obviously fairly new and the buildings and quality show there was some time and effort spent by the owners to make it a nice place. The sites were very level and all provide enough room for big rigs. We opted for a back-in site, but the pull-throughs were just as nice. Not crowded at all and all other guests were quiet and kept their areas clean.
The WiFi worked great, it was as fast as our home network is. We've never used RV laundry facilities before but decided to after seeing how CLEAN this place was. There's a lock on the door to keep out any unwelcome visitors, though the area was so nice I'm not sure it would ever be an issue. The bathrooms were also super clean, as were the showers. All are private, one-person areas so you can enjoy privacy rarely afforded to you in RV parks!
Yes, you can hear the Interstate traffic if you're parked at the side of the park we were on, but it was no bother at all for us. The convenience of pulling in and leaving in the morning more than make up for that. (New asphalt on the access roads too...nice surprise for a small town such as Doolittle).
Overall, this is a marvelous stop if you're traveling through the area. We would absolutely stay again if we're in the area.

This rather new RV park was conveniently located near the interstate and offered spacious pull through and back in sites. We stopped for one night on our way to Texas. It was cold night down into the high 20’s and we needed a FHU site to keep our furnace and tank heaters running with the 50 amp service. We also needed to fill up our fresh water tank for our next stop. We had a minor problem with our handle on our black tank and the manager of the campground was helpful in directing us to a place where we could get a part to fix it. He also helped with making a reservation when our cell service was not strong enough to make the reservation online from the road. We were able to get our empty propane tank filled and there were many food options around. We went to a local Mexican place in an old Howard Johnson’s and enjoyed our meal with enough leftovers for another meal. Since the showers were so clean and heated, we ended up using the individual shower rooms near the office so that we could pack up our water and sewer lines the night before due to the freezing temps. I would definitely camp there again.
