Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on August 17, 2023This is a great waterfront COE campground near Bentonville, AR. Most sites are typical size for a public campground (that is to say quite spacious.) However, some of the waterfront sites are huge and offer fantastic views of Beaver Lake. This is a boat and fishing oriented campground and lots of people put their boats in the water and just tie them up to a tree or beach them to keep the handy for use during their stay. The price shown above reflects a 50% discount for the Interagency Pass which costs $80/year and is available to all (offers similar benefits to the Golden Age Pass only available to those over 62.)
This CG is very popular during the weekends and fills up fast. There are about 50 or so sites that are walk up only and these can be obtained without reservations if you get here early in the week (Sunday to Wednesday.) After Wednesday you'd better have reservations if you want to be assured of a site. Despite it's popularity on the weekends, this is a very quiet campground both at night and during the day. It's popularity with families would appear to keep the "partiers" away.
The CG is about 20 minutes from Rogers, AR and 30 minutes from downtown Bentonville, AR. Bentonville has a very cute and quaint little downtown and a fantastic art museum (Crystal Bridges) both courtesy of the Walmart corporation and the Walton family who make Bentonville their home. There is a good supermarket about 15 minutes from the campground (Walmart Neighborhood Market) and there is are all kind of shopping opportunities within a half hour.
In addition to being a fine destination campground, this is a very good jumping off point for a visit to the NW Arkansas area which is surprisingly beautiful and offers all manner of outdoor activities including hiking, bicycling, swimming, fishing, and the like. There is an extensive network of dedicated bicycle trails all around the Rogers and Bentonville area.
We had very good TV reception and some of the fastest Verizon data signal we've ever had in this CG. We are able to stream HD video without any issues.

Before I start my review a little info about this campground.
1. Out of Season (November-March) The price is only $16-$17/night and it has electric and water. Even during season it's only about $20/night in the area we stayed in.
2. Golden Age or Golden Access Passports have been Replaced with the Interagency Senior or Interagency Access Pass which means you get 50% off each night. America the Beautiful does not count towards this.
3. There is a $5/day fee, but if you have the America the Beautiful Pass it's free.
4. Electric and water are on during the off season and there are park hosts. Find a spot and they will find you. No reservations and no checking in. Not all spots have water.
5. Only one loop is open in the off season. The other three look like they have amazing spots!
These spots are large and spacious. This is sort of an odd 5 star review for me. Usually 5 stars comes from being remote with no people or a lot of amenities for an RV park that is clean and close to the city. This is about 20 minutes from Rogers and 35 minutes from Bentonville. Not entirely convenient but close enough. What you do come to this campground for is to use the beautiful lake and it's pretty quiet. The large spots are nice and when it's pretty empty we would run or bike through the other empty loops. There are a couple spots that are really big and right near the water. During peak season you do have to make reservations online or you will want to to get your spot. This is also a great campground for groups. There are picnic areas and playgrounds. A lot of spots that would only work for tents are truck campers. The campground is very clean, the camp hosts do a great job of that. There are a couple rock beaches and dirt/sand beaches, multiple boat launches and a small marina. We enjoyed sitting out front and watching the boaters on the lake.
Rogers is cute but there isn't a lot there. Bentonville is pretty amazing though for such a small town. I guess when you have the Waltons there they need to have some nice things. Crystal Bridges and Hotel 21C are both free for their museums. Onyx Coffee is cute and has a good vibe. The restaurants were good and the Razorback trail is 36 miles of paved path. Plus a bunch of other side trails. It's easy to park at Crystal Bridges or right in that main area. Crystal Bridges Trail is nice. The back 40 are farther north.
We really did enjoy our time in the area, more than we thought. If you are driving through or wanting a quiet place near Bentonville, this is it.

It's 8pm and there is a huge Christian Church group here, with a full set of drums and people who can't sing.
I come to get away from the noise and yet, they feel that people who want to listen to the critters must be forced to listen to them instead.
I'll make sure never to stay here on a weekend again since it's obviously full of people who don't care about their neighbors.
They've been here all day and didn't start till people started getting ready to relax and enjoy the quiet.

Nice little campground on Beaver Lake outside of Rogers, AR. Most of the sites are a bit on the shorter side but can some can accommodate slightly large rigs. We're 31 foot long and didn't have any trouble. The lake was higher than normal and some of the bigger sites appeared to be under a couple of feet of water, though. I'm sure it varies during the year.
The site that we were in was posted as 80 feet long but half of it was on a very steep incline. We could barely even park our Jeep on it, much less a camper. It flattened out quickly, though, and we were able to level up with a few blocks, so it worked well. Some of the sites in the upper loops are pretty short, though.
We reserved a 30 amp site and was told at the gate that there were no 50 amp sites available. When I plugged in, however, our pedestal had a 50 amp outlet in it that worked fine. That was a nice surprise for us!
The showers are typical brick buildings with no frills but are clean. The water was more room temperature than hot but the pressure was decent.
There are no water hookups at each site but there are a lot of faucets scattered around the campground. Dump station is on site but the rinse line was made where you can't connect to flush your tank. Meh.
Cell service with AT&T was decent. Without a booster, we were getting 2 and 3 bars of LTE and 15 to 20 megs down. T-Mobile didn't have any service for us here.
The country road coming in was long and winding, so be prepared. Watch out for low tree limbs, too. Google Maps may try to take you on a weird route. Just get onto New Hope Road and follow it all the way. It turns into 94 and will take you straight there. Much easier.

This campground can be quite busy during the weekend but is in a great location on Beaver Lake and has nice wooded sites. The campground can be noisy (our weekend stay had a band playing at the pavilion on Friday evening). But, as long you take it in stride, this campground is worth visiting.

Access to the site is fine, but tight for larger rigs. Depending on how you come in, you’re looking at 5-10 miles of windy, narrow, roads through the trees. You’ll likely move a bit slowly to avoid trees and such, but we are in a 40’ diesel pusher so about as big as it gets.
The camp hosts were NOT friendly or efficient, so our check in process was pretty frustrating. They had a section of “first come, first serve” sites and although many were empty and unoccupied, they told us that we couldn’t stay there because their computer showed that it had been reserved, even though they didn’t take reservations. We asked if they had “reservable” sites that were available and they didn’t seem to know. Strangely, they told us to drive through the section with reservable sites and if something was open, we could just take it. Backwards! Fortunately you only need to deal with the camp hosts at check in, so if you’re prepared then it won’t ruin your stay.
The campground itself was what you’d expect from an Army Corps of Engineers, clean, simple and straightforward. There are pit toilets throughout and by the large open campsite area there is a bathroom with running water and showers.
Lots of options on the peninsula for great views and the sites are spread out so you’re not on top of each other. The “80’s loop” of sites is beautiful! Spread out, super shaded and in the woods, but close to the water. The peninsula is open with some scattered trees and the sites are spread out. All of the peninsula offers 50amp power and the rest of the campground is 30 amp only.
The open area has sites that are pretty close together, but still doesn’t feel like a parking lot.
All in all, we liked this campground and would come back again if we return to the area.

Late night arrival had the making of a disaster. Only a few sites available sized for us, 26'. Fortunately we found a challenging back in site. It was very challenging parking but several other sites to accommodate campers over 30' could be available. Just not on Friday nights.
The campground is large on a peninsula of beaver lake. Plenty of water access with sand beaches and boat dock and launch.
Campground host we're very helpful and accommodating.
The roads are paved, most of the sites are paved but very broken. Small camper has more options and choices really dwindle the larger you get here.

We stayed while visiting Eureka Springs and area. Very nice quiet park. Saw deer daily, neighbor gifted us catfish he’d caught in the lake. Spacious spots (not right on top of each other) and a great price with our senior pass!

This was one of the best weekends ending the season for 2020 Camping for us. Quiet area with plenty of great walking and wildlife throughout the campgrounds. Beautiful views of Beaver Lake with sunrise and sunsets.

The only complaint we had was the poor markings of the camp sites. It took us a bit to find our site and wound up on one no outlet road. However, once past that the camp sites are great. Very few have water hookups but when we were there water was off for the winter. Nice spacing between the sites and very quiet at night.
We are looking forward to returning again during the normal camping season.
