Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 23, 2023Our stay was May, 2018. This was a nice, simple RV park far enough off the highway to be quiet. It was a little muddy in our side because of rain, and the owner brought over a rubber mat for us to use. We were just overnighting but would definitely stay here again.

This place is easy on/off I29. One side is a corn field, another side a copse of trees, another side a fallow field, hwy off in the distance. Sites are old gravel and grass, level with good satellite reception. We didn’t use WiFi just used cell phones. TMobile worked good enough. This is a quiet spot in the country with few amenities. It felt like boon docking but had good full hookups. The camp host is offsite. He has cameras and phoned us as we were setting up (not in the space he chose for us but since there was only one other RV he didn’t make us move). There’s a pool which wasn’t open, a common covered concrete patio and one picnic table set pretty far from campsites. You must reserve online. We did so the morning of our stay. I would stay here again.

Apparently this was a nice campground at one time but now it seems basically deserted. Saw no staff. One other trailer and what appeared to be an old class A that someone lives in - saw a cat through the windshield
We needed electricity because of the heat and only an overnight stop so met our needs. But it was a little unnerving. I would not stay again. Did have good wifi and gave password in confirmation email.

It's a good thing that I read a previous review about this place being nearly deserted. First, there's no sign saying there's a campground here. We drove past the place initially, then were turning around where the road ended (closed due to construction so don't come from the west on 136 unless you know the road is open) when some kind folks coming out of a working facility plant asked if we were lost and they drove us back to the driveway.
There's no registration office or signs or folks around. There was only one trailer here at the end, a fenced in empty pool with weeds where there once was a garden, and nice pergola with old chairs. The sites are marked and the utilities work. The one to two bar wifi password was included in the check-in instructions. The lawn has been mowed but it doesn't seem like much else has been done to maintain the campground We would stay here again because the area is quiet and it's convenient off the I-29 freeway with just some distant traffic sounds and the cost is fair.

Must book online. Hard to find entrance to campground. No office. We arrived at dark. Place looked deserted and wondered if the campground was even open. One other camper in the back. Several more campers came in after us. Place is very unkept, though water, electric and sewer were in working order. Tall weeds. Drained swimming pool. Bathrooms at back and very dirty with bugs and spiders. Men's shower ran cold, women's shower didn't work. Will work in a pinch. $30+ taxes and fees for 30 amp. $40+ taxes and fees for a 30/50 amp and 50 amp.

This campground is severely neglected. Looks like it may have been a nice place years ago, now pool and common bathhouse are hideous, though the frog in the men's room was friendly. Our 50A power worked for 15 minutes. Reached out to owner via email and got call back. He acknowledged bad power at that site #6, hadn't got around to fixing bad breaker, and offered to move us. What a pain. We left next morning. Wife says, "this place is like boondocking, without the amenities." On the plus side, close to well stocked beer store to drown my sorrow.
I wrote the comment above. After leaving the owners called back. They had moved our site to a front area that had more gravel because the rains lately have caused a lot of overgrowth and puddles over the spot we booked. We had already left, but they were very professional, friendly and helpful in reimbursement.
We booked this, paid up front, drove all the way here and it is an abandoned campground. Looks nothing like the pictures. Not a single person on site. No one answering the phones. The grass is completely grown over the gravel spots.
